No title. Just read the thing
no words for this. It's the price of a lunch, just get it. Best decision I've made so far was to read this and now all the other ones happen differently.

Ever what to pull mental inventory and update a file ...
Ever what to pull mental inventory and update a file? Introducing NLP breaks down the steps to effectively articulate this process. I've read two other books on the practice of NLP and this one is by the most compelling and rich text in my home library.

It helped me after just one chapter
I have only read the first chapter so far, but the principles in just that one chapter have already helped me influence clients. The book is well written and easy to read/understand.

Just What It Says!
I know understand myself, and others more than before. If you think this is some book that will help you control people's minds, this isn't what you are looking for. This will help you understand the sub-concious subtleties that everyone has. It also helps you to excersise your brain power to acheive excellence.

Informative but a bit dry
John Seymour and Joseph O'Connor have succeeded in writing an introductory book to help familiarise those new to NLP to the territory. After an introduction explaining what NLP is about-essentially modelling how peak performers achieve excellence and what their experience of the world is-the authors give a chapter on several core ideas. These include the senses, states of mind, systems, language, negotiation, therapy, and modelling. Of course each topic in itself needs much more space than one or two chapters, but the authors do a good job at summarising and explaining the information, while also including some practical exercises to try out.Although this book can be commended on the way it covers a lot of ground and explains the main concepts well, I think it is lacking in presentation. I felt like a lot of the book was rather dry and had a scholarly tone that almost detracted from its value as a personal development book. But I think that clarity of communication in this book still makes it a worthwhile read and very valuable for anyone getting into NLP.

Disappointing
I bought a book as it was very positively reviewed in the http://www.bradburyac.mistral.co.uk/ website. I found it very disappointing. Not totally bad but in the end I found this book irritating to say the least. The book is very repetitive, lack structure and is continously stating the obvious. Tell us something we don't know Mr O'Connor or at least say it in a fresh interesting way !!! There are some interesting ideas and thoughts provoking moments but they are few and far between. The 210 pages could have probably and better concentrated in 70. The inclusion of some case studies (totally missing) would have avoided (or at least given us a break from) the tedious river of words that in the end all sounded meaningless. Shame NLP has is good points but book like this risk alienating people from it.

Probably the best NLP book for those seeking a deeper understanding
This must be the most recommended N L P book in my library. Since I developed an interest in the subject myself I have sought to find a book that details the information in such a way for easer to comprehension. The authors have taken the time to dissect the reams of information and delivered it to us in a format that allows for better understanding of the subject. In fact it was this book that in the mid nineties provoked me and my friend to write a simple book on N L P My Little Book of N L P - Neuro Linguistic Programming to give a brief taster on the subject. My only regret was not remembering to name Introduction to N L P in the resource section. You will benefit - Great read My Little Book of N L P - Neuro Linguistic Programming

Good Insights
I was only partway into this when I loaned it to a friend never to be seen again so can't rate higher as its incomplete in my memory. What I did remember about it was it was a tough read for me at the time.
