Stunned
I install Security systems for a living have done for 30 years now I can absolutely say I was stunned left speechless by this product today. I cannot understand how it works over 100 m of coax. I was so stunned. I unroll 100 m of copper clad aluminium alarm cable which was laid out all over the floor. I connected the BNC connected with one single pair of the alarm cable, and yet again, it worked seamlessly, the product is expensive I don’t think I will use it every time but it will get me out of jail anybody that knows knows. It is 11:30 pm and I am still shocked by this product. It has rocked me to my car and I am not joking. select-security.net

Have loads of POE power
Its ideal, i ran an 8mp Hikvision Acusense camera 100m from my shed to my garden gate, powered by a POE switch. Works brilliantly.

Does exactly what is says on the tin
I am sure I will be getting some more of these, as the time comes to change other cameras over to IP. Connected an 8mp HD IP camera to an old coax and it is absolutely fine. I had tried another, cheaper product, that was complete CR*P. Very pleased with this pricy but excellent device. Not having to run new cables over the roof of an old building was a great relief. I had to change the junction box for a slightly larger one, but, otherwise, it was a doddle. Recommended.

works well, great customer service, possibly overheating
Great customer service, a unit stopped working and they sent replacement. Suspect however the unit fried itself (it was in box on roof to allow for a wifi AP over coax), but hopefully the replacement unit will last longer than the first one.

Works perfectly
Exactly the same as the Dahua version and much less expensive.

Takes IP over Coax seamlessly
Great piece of kit. Meant for networking remote IP cameras over coax but worked equally well networking SkyQ boxes over a dis-used TV coax network in a thatched grade 1 listed building. Handy get out of jail card

Simple and works brilliantly
During the 2000’s builders installed far more RF outlets in a house than they did cat5/6. In my example, our home had only 8 RJ45 network jacks, one per major room, and yet several rooms had an F-type network socket on multiple walls. This is a very simple and easy way to convert unused Co-Ax cabling to a standard network outlet - even one providing power over ethernet for a phone or a camera. Note that you’ll likely need to pick up some BNC Male to F-Type female adapters and an F-type antenna cable to connect to a wall-plate.
