Tried making my own moon cakes previously and failed. This time I focused on the dough and bought the filling. It worked...now I will tackle filling. Very tasty and easy for beginners!

Good product awesome food

This stuff tastes nasty. You can taste the peanut oil( it tastes rancid) and the maltitol, which causes gas & bloating and is not healthy for you. Also the paste is mainly sugar and white bean paste....there's no taste of lotus seeds at all and lotus seeds are almost the last ingredient listed. Save your money if you want a true lotus paste because this one has too many fillers and tastes nothing like it.

I had never tried locust bean paste before. It has a sweet mild flavor. I kneaded some cocoa into it to make chocolate Ferraro Rocher mooncakes. It worked nicely. The texture makes it easy to work with and mold into the desired shapes.

I’ve went through the long process of making Lotus Seed Paste at home from scratch for Mooncakes so I know what it should taste like and this isn’t even close.This has a very strong peanut oil taste, I wouldn’t say it tasted rancid like others have mentioned but it’s definitely not what Lotus Seed paste should taste like. I thought I would give this pre-made paste a try and save some time but ultimately it was a flop.
