Learning to ride this thing is a challenge - but keep at it. after a couple of hrs I was frustrated that I still had the 'new rider' safety speed limit on. However, once you get past 1km ridden it opens up to full capacity.Do not believe the range / speed specs given here. Real world it is a lot less.For example, fully charged I got the battery to 40% with a 5.6 mile ride. which was flat canal path. I'm 90kg. It took 34 minutes.If you extrapolate that out, it could get 9.3 miles - except the system shuts down to protect that battery at about 9% remaining - so in reality you're looking at a safe 8 - 8.5 miles..... Nothing like what is advertised. I guess it might manage a lot further if you are lighter or don't ride it close to it's max speed the whole time like I doEqually, it may reach a top speed of 15mph in bursts, but it backs you off with an annoying beep - my best sustained mile was just over 5 minutes - so 12mph - not too bad, but not 15.All measurements were taken on a Garmin runner GPS watch - not the segway app.Honestly though - this is the most fun. My commute to work is 6 miles along a canal. Yes, this will take longer, but it's greener, cheaper and really, really cool

It looks good. Would recommend buying protective padding for the wheel at it will scatch easily. Also some side pads so that legs do not get bruised.My one also makes a funky whooshing noise when not moving. Not sure if this is the stabilising mechanics or perhaps something wrong. I will find out when back on my feet.I bought one from amazon marketplace. It came in acceptable condition but the wheel was deflated. Also it was on used so the speed was unrestricted as it wasn't formatted. Even when pumped I discovered the tire was unseated but by then it was too late: Had already been to Hospital A&E, following a bad fall, to get staples and glue. The wheel was veering to one side. Thankfully the guys at erides reseated the wheel for me and told me not to give up after this, the wheel is fine but it wasn't set up correctly for first time use. I had protective gear but I fell back onto a spike so knee guard didn't help.Amazon offered me 30£ had to press hard for something more reasonable and in the end just took the minimum I would be satisfied with as didn't want to keep bartering. It'd hard to put a price on damage but I will not be able to walk without aid for at least a week or so.I digress. Great beginner wheel.Make sure you have protective gear.If you buy second hand please please please have it checked out.

Loved this EUC, small and light, great for learning-sad it caps you at 15mph

Great fun for beginners or for someone wanting a second "fun" wheel. Just press the switch and go without the faff of the bigger wheels

Product is of excellent make and very sturdy. Tyre came already pumped up. Seller delivered very quickly and it was actually delivered before the due date. Very pleased with my purchase.👍
