Some of the reviews I read said this was plastic,....it's not. It is the darkest obsidian I have ever seen. It's black as they said. It's very opaque and only the point shows a bit of translucents. The weight is very good and it's larger than I was thinking it would be. I'm very happy.

I am very happy with this. It's a beautiful piece. Shipped quickly and came in a nice velvet bag and box. Would recommend.
