Creative Co-Op Ornate Decorative Fireplace Mantel, Distressed Black

WOW..just WOW! I have been eyeing this beauty for weeks waiting for the price to go down, but as I watched more and more leave the stock list. I had to bite the bullet and press "buy" and I do NOT regret spending a single penny! 2 women brought it up to my second floor apt. and I was able to push it inside and assemble the mantel by myself. super easy instructions as well. [ although it is a bit heavy, its not oversized to the point I couldn't do it alone ] there are 2 spots on the back of the mantel so hook up against the wall to keep it sturdy and keeping it from falling. [ if you have cats or dogs, I highly recommend drilling it to the wall ] BUY IT! everything about this mantel is perfect, I was also very worried about the color of the mantel. but she is coated in this beautiful stone like material.

Absolutely love this mantle. Well worth the price. Heavy and quality made. Stone look and gave my builder grade bedroom reno personality.

Oh. Wow. I can see how something like this would be easily damaged in transit; it's heavy and, from a transportation professional's expert opinion, could be MUCH better packed. However, mine arrived intact and I unwrapped it, moved it 15' into the house, and put it in position alone. And it's gonna look FABULOUS! ( Pardon the mess-I'm still moving in. ) I'm going to have a finish carpenter remove the old mantle and install this one so don't look at the picture and think, "Ew?" It's just standing in front of the fireplace with the tag and brace still on it. And by "install" I mean just secure it to the wall ( probably no mean trick given the weight, actually...) using the metal keyhole hangers on the back. See pics. If I wanted to find fault I could-on the top right face is a round manufacturing flaw, and the tips of the front corners on the base are slightly damaged from rubbing but, c'mon, to get this kind of ambience any other way I'd have to spend a million bucks buying and renovating a classical piece of real estate! The patina looks like aged, pitted stone. So I'm quite happy with my purchase and give it 5 stars!

I’ve had my eye on this for a while and finally purchased it. I’m so happy I did! It came in a lot of protective packaging and I was easily able to put it together by myself. It isn’t as stable as I thought it’d be and wobbles a bit if touched so keep that in mind. I could anchor it to the wall though. The size is amazing, and it did recently go up in price (probably due to popularity), but still worth it. I added extra elements to it to make it appear more realistic and I’m very happy overall!

This is how my fireplace was delivered! It was completely out of the packaging. Fortunately there were only a couple of chips on one corner. The actual product is good quality and I like it but their packaging and delivery was terrible.

This fireplace surround is absolutely beautiful! It’s very large and heavy which adds to its charm and resilience within the room. I live in an 1895 row house and this piece feels as if it belongs in my parlor (what took me so long to buy it?). I’m rearranging my furniture around this beauty. Get one! You will not be disappointed.

I am so glad I ordered this beautiful fireplace! It is stunning. I was hesitant to order because of several reviews reporting damage. I am happy to say my item was delivered without a scratch or ding on it, by two nice young men from Ceva delivery. It comes in three pieces, which enabled me, a 63 yer old woman, to put it together by myself. It took just over a week to receive it.
