A sport glove set for the professional wearer
They are a great pair of gloves, and the prices are justifiable if you are part of the niche these are aimed at. With a combination of work and the ongoing pandemic making me wear gloves more frequently than usual, I managed to wear down a pair and after some consideration, I simply had to get a pair like these – something that offered durability, circulation, and more subtle appearance that can go well with professional uniforms. While there are some caveats when it comes to buying clothes online, if you are aware of them these might very well be the best sporting gloves you can buyThe Hatch Pull-on operator gloves are a utility glove set tacitly aimed at gun owners and other people who might need a distinct combination of tactileness and durability. Constructed primarily of Kevlar and leather, the unlined gloves are heavily inspired by Nomex flight gloves worn by pilots and are intended to bring the same classic features without the longer cuffs that might interfere with long-sleeve clothing or wristwatches. In my case, I use this primarily for work where I am consistently sharing equipment and taking public transportation. There is one minor and very objective problem – do you know your glove size? I mean, do you really know the size that you are comfortable with? From both personal experience and the pictures submitted, I have medium-sized hands and bought the medium-sized glove and for better or worse it is a tight fit. While the tight fit is great for wearers who need a high degree of feeling through the material, it might come as a surprise to some people who insist on a degree of loose comfort. In my opinion, the true fit of a glove only comes from the feel of curled fingers or an outright fist and in my experience the fit is tight. Not so much it was worthy of a return, but enough to make me consider (as well as suggesting to the reader) purchasing the next larger size. Of course, these gloves provide no touch option – you will have to take these off to use most touch screens.Otherwise, they are a great pair of gloves. While I will most likely never use them for shooting, the fit and properties of Kevlar do provide a higher degree of protection and comfort that simple leather cannot. As I type this, summer is underway in Southern California and even working indoors may not be cool enough or good air circulation is not providing good comfort and yet sometimes I forget I am wearing these gloves – the Kevlar fabric does provide easier circulation, at least compared to some leather gloves in my collection.

Excellent shooting glove
I have worn PAST brand padded fingerless shooting gloves for years. Recently my husband remarked that he felt he needed shooting gloves also for several reasons, one of which is that his skin is getting very thin and tears easily, sometimes even if he just touches his hand against something like a wooden barricade. Another reason is that winter is coming.Since the PAST gloves are no longer available we researched shooting gloves for longer than he wanted to keep reading, but he thought that this Hatch KSG glove with Kevlar might be just what he wanted. These are NOT padded but he wasn't wanting a padded glove anyway. We carefully measured his hand according to the manufacturer's chart and he ordered the large. As soon as the gloves arrived he put them on and was extremely happy with the perfect fit. Then he wore them on his next trip to the range and came back even happier! He said they do everything he wanted in a shooting glove. They are thick enough to provide warmth AND thin enough that they do not affect either his grip OR trigger control in the slightest. If and when my old PAST gloves give up the ghost I may look into buying Hatch gloves for myself also.UPDATE: Hubby likes his gloves so well that I did order a pair for myself. Using the online chart I ordered the size small and the fit is almost perfect. My hands are "medium-large" for a woman. If a woman has really small hands I do not believe these gloves would come in a size that would be small enough - but for me they fit very well. There is some open space between the glove material and the "crotch" of my hand at the bottom where the thumb meets the palm, but since the palms are leather I think they will stretch as I use them so I can have a really firm grip on the grip of the gun. I haven't used them on the range yet,but will update again after I have some experience with using them when doing live fire.

Best fit, great dexterity and feeling, light weight, and great price has made these my go-to gloves for over a decade.
I have been using the Hatch Shooting gloves for more than 10 years, and while I tried other gloves, I always come back to these. There are several shortcomings that these gloves have though; first, they do tend to have issues of separating at the fingertips and at point where the fingers come together (where the webbing of your fingers begins), and second, the dye that is used for the leather will come off on your hands for the first few times that you wear them for long periods that you're sweating in them. However, all of the shortcomings are overshadowed by the fact that these gloves allow for the greatest dexterity and touch-feeling that I have found in any gloves I've ever used. Additionally, they are not overly thick or bulky and this keeps your hands cooler than in other gloves. This also means that they aren't bulky when stored in your kit, and they dry out quickly. Finally, the price is right; if you're using these gloves for combat patrols, shooting, training, or a similar task this means that you can be hard on your gloves and really use them without worrying that you'll be ruining a pair of gloves that costs as much as your glasses or boots.

Dye stains your hands
They fit good but the dye leaves my hands stained and is difficult to wash off. I wouldn’t buy them again.

Pretty solid for shooting/mechanical work
They are super solid, there are sometimes a little bit of seam bulge in a few places but its extremely minor. I got them to work on guns so I would be able to manipulate parts but not be effected by the sharp edges. Work good, look good and feel good.

kinda ugly, but very thin!
I was looking for very THIN leather gloves and this is the best I was able to find so far. They are comfy, I just wish the finger tips work on smart phones. If you use these for driving, keep a cheapo stylus in the cup-holder to work your phone / gps/etc. because these gloves will likely not work.

Disappointed
Gloves seamed big enough but couldn’t get them on my hands, cuff link was too small even with the extra large gloves, was very disappointed. I own the Sarfariland holsters for my Glock and it’s the best one I ever owned. Was hoping for the same thing in the gloves.
