Nice quality bracket with all the hardware you need for installation
The brackets are well made and you get all the hardware you need to install them. Please note that the shelf probably needs to be about a minimum of 1" thick. Ideally you need 1-1/4 or 1-1/2 thick. You need to buy the jig and drill bit for drilling the holes. The hole you drill is 1/2" and the rod on the bracket is slightly less than 1/2". There is an optionally screw that you can use to lock the shelf in place, but it not necessary. You don't have a lot of error in position the brackets and the shelf hole, so take your time. I built a template to aid me in accurately positioning the brackets and the holes in the shelfs. The price of these brackets are comparable to other shelf bracket options you might be considering. You do have the one time expense of getting the jig and drill bit, but that too is reasonably priced. I will say I love of not seeing the shelving hardware. I have 3 shelfs vertically aligned for storing CD's and DVD's and not having any hardware means that the hardware doesn't interfere with the shelf below it.

Reasonable quality for the price
Surprisingly forgiving, these are astoundingly easy to install while staying reasonably level. Make sure to measure twice, take your time, and make the little adjustments when necessary. You most definitely need a proper, quality dowel jig, a 1/2” drill bit that is at least as long as the shaft, flange, and depth of your jig, about 8”, as well as a router or some proficiency with a hammer and chisel for the full mortises.I will say that one of the brackets arrived noticeably out of square, but the seller was quick to send a replacement. Three of the drywall anchors included snapped during installation, which was an enormous inconvenience, so I suggest purchasing higher quality hardware.

Heavy duty
Heavy duty. Bought it for the floating shelves on our fire place and floating shelves on the corner. And it supported very well. It work for what o needed.

Tough to install but sturdy
I’d like to think that I’m a bit of an expert when it comes to shelve installation, after moving multiple times you get used to it. But the floating shelve using posts only can be a bit tricky. Make sure that you have the shelf level and the drill is straight when making the holes on your shelf. If you come at an angle, it’ll be impossible to install. If you’re unlucky, like myself, and had to install on concrete then make sure you have a hammer drill when putting up the posts. Lastly, distance between the holes in the shelf and the posts on the wall have to be spot on. Measure twice.Overall, these posts are great. They feel strong and I’ve had a heavy shelf installed that hasn’t moved an inch since it’s been up. Just make sure you have some experience or a friend help.

Sturdy but not all were usable(not straight).
While these are very sturdy and well made, it’s a good thing they come in a pack of four because all but 1 was bent! I was able to make them work but it definitely made installing and drilling the holes in my shelf a lot harder than it should have been.Bracket 1: the base that attaches to the wall was bent inwardBracket 2: the shaft part that goes into the shelf was very bent, probably 10 degree. Which makes it impossible to use with a shelf that has a straight hole drilled!Bracket 3: shaft part is less bent than bracket two but still bent. Was able to use that with the only straight bracket and make it work after some finagling. They work, come with screws and multiple anchor types and are sturdy(heavy duty) but just be aware: they may not be straight! Maybe I just got a bad batch.

Sturdy and simple
I added floating shelves to my kitchen by attaching these brackets before tiling over them. These worked especially well for this application because they have the longer wall plates that provide extra support when installed in a vertical position. By cutting away the drywall and mounting them directly to the studs, it ensures that these brackets won't compress the drywall and start to sag over time. The screws provided aren't all that great. I broke a couple when driving them with an impact driver, so I ended up using my own. Can't speak to how well the included anchors work since I attached them directly to the studs. Otherwise, a 1/2-inch drill bit worked perfect for the holes and gave a nice snug friction fit.I'll be using these again for sure.

Heavy and strong
These are great however there is a trick to drilling out the hole to put these buggers on. It takes more than just a drill than what the video shows. It took my friend to use his milling drill to get these deep enough. These are 6 1/2 shelves and we cut them down to 4 inch which 2(on each end of the 24 inch longshelf) made them hold plenty. These are notflimsy by no means. If I could sit on top of them, it would probably hold me.After the adjustment I would still buy them.Note: make sure your wood is at least 1 inch thick
