Fantastic Blade!
This blade performs absolutely fantastic! I purchased it to cut down sheets of solid surface Corian for a commercial job.As anyone who's familiar with cutting solid surface knows, it chips very easy, hence the manufacturer only recommends using a router to cut it. I'll admit, I was skeptical of the quality of the cuts as the edges of my project were exposed and the first thing you'd see of the installation. They were perfect. By moving the saw very slow through the Corian, there was zero chip out, and the cuts were smooth. So smooth that they didn't need sanding. The second use of this blade is plastic laminate, which I also used this blade to cut.First was a couple of commercial 1 3/4" laminate doors that needed cut. The results are flawless. Zero chips on either side. This blade has been a major time saver for me as the days of cutting proud of the line, then sanding/planing to it are gone. The type of carbide used on the teeth seem to be very high quality. So far, I've cut approx. 300 lineal feet of Corian and roughly 100 lineal feet of double sided laminate on MDF. Cuts are still glass smooth with zero chipping.I can't even knock the price. It's Festool, and it works better than I expected.

Excellent smooth cuts. Expensive.
I use this to cur a bamboo during hardwood floor installation. I can cur bamboo stair treads at 10-degree bevel with perfect results.

Best Saw Blade for Solid Surface Corian
Just used this to cut Corian Solid Surface for a bathroom shower panels. Used on a Festool TS 55 track saw. The edges were cut smooth and not chipping and the edges seemed together with epoxy. I recommend this saw blade.

Chips melamine
I realize that melamine chips easily, thats why I was willing to spend $95 on a 6" blade, hoping that festool had figured it out. But alas it is a chipper. Bottom side was fine, top on both side of the cut had about 3 chips per inch.

Great blade used in my Makita sp6000j track saw for ...
Great blade used in my Makita sp6000j track saw for cutting and joining solid surface. It is much easier to join pieces of ss using the track saw with this blade than set up to with the router.
