Great product as it has multiple outlets. Used in Italy w no problems. Buy it!

Seemed to work properly
I used it to power a multiple effects pedal in Europe. The conversions are very confusing. My pedal consumes 12 watts and this converter provides over 1400watts. I don't believe that's correct though. Good thing is it didn't melt. I'm going to use it again this fall.

Will not prevent burnout of your devices. A complete waste of money.
I purchased this converter ahead of my trip to Egypt. When I tried to use it with my curling iron, it failed and caused it to permanently burn out. It is now fried. When I returned home, my 30 day window to return it pasted, so I a stuck with this worthless piece of junk.

I purchased for a visit to the UK.It was clearly marked which adapter was appropriate,so I only brought the parts needed.

Very useful
This did just what it said it would do - easy to use and stores readily in the bag provided. I found that the main European portion needs to have the additional 2-pronged piece when traveling in Italy because the prong holes are slightly closer together there - and that actually turned out to be convenient when I had to plug my CPAP machine into a bed-side plug that has an on-off switch (found in all of the places I stayed). The extra piece also worked well with my European hair dryer.
