It’s been several years since I regripped a club and had always used the tape that you wrap around in spiral fashion. I much prefer the tape method that comes with this product! It is excellent and easy. I did 10 grips in about an hour. Once you get a good setup and the feel of it you can really do a single grip in less than 5 minutes. The hook-shaped cutting tool to get the old grip off is very handy! Having a bench vise to hold the club is super helpful I might add, as it allows you a convenient height and angle to to the work. Highly recommend these grips and this kit!

Amazing grips and everything you need is included! I regrouped all my clubs and the grips have held up very well over the last 6 months. Solid grip, does not feel like I will need to change them any time soon.

These grips are great and the kit came with everything needed to regrip some old Spaulding irons that I wanted to use as I learn to play golf. After watching a few YouTube videos, I found it relatively straightforward to install new grips, though removing the 40+ year old grips was a challenge. The solvent works well and smells nice, but the container it is in is useless. The cap doesn't stay on or seal well enough to be useful, though the packaging was good enough that none was spilled during shipping. I've hit maybe 200 balls with my favorite 5 iron after installing the grip, and it doesn't seem to be wearing out, though I do try to keep my hands clean and dry when I play. For the money, these are great to rehab an old set of clubs or get a set up and running that doesn't merit premium grips. The process of regripping really is easy, and after looking at prices to have it done in store make these grips a no-brainer.

These are honestly a great pair of grips. Super easy to put on. I just had my wife hold the club, I lubed it up EXTRA well (don’t skimp or it’ll get stuck halfway) then shoved it on. Goes on easy. After a day it was rock solid. These should last quite a while.

I bought the standard grips. For the price, you cant beat it. The hardest part was removing the old grip tape. Installation was a breeze. I recommend utilizing a vice. Install the new grip tape and wet it and let it soak for a minute or so. Wet the inside of the new grip and slide it on and adjust. Awesome purchase.

So glad I replaced the old grips. I polished up my old clubs, put these grips on, and now I'm a pro golfer ;) The feel is excellent. Just the right amount of tacky feel and 0 residue. It was very easy to install and the kit includes plenty of tape and solvent to apply the grips

Easy instructions to follow. Make sure you apply enough grip solution onto the tape. Otherwise grip will not slide down its length easily ,it will stick and need to be cut off wasting a grip.

These grips were very easy to install (max 10 minutes per club), if you do a little google research first you will learn some of the tricks to avoiding the problems with grips sticking too soon. I used a vice grip with the rubber holder and followed the guidance provided on google (squirt the solvent onto the tape directly and also into the grip but be sure to plug the bottom hole, stick your finger in the other end to plug the grip and shake the solvent around inside the grip and then let it seep out onto the tape by removing your finger SLOWLY from the bottom hole. I kept a little blue shop rag under the club handle as I squirted the solvent on the tape and again when I allowed the solvent to soak the tape while draining the grip. This allowed me to complete all 13 installs and still have a little less than half the solvent leftover) I experienced very little sticking and all my grips went on like I knew what I was doing!! I had to add extra wraps of tape ($10 - Thanks Amazon) to my wife’s clubs as her shafts were slightly smaller than mine but the grips are tight and feel great. We have not yet used them as I just completed the re-gripping today, but they feel absolutely fabulous in the hands and they are a definite improvement to the old cracked rubber ones I’ve become accustomed to. Looking SOOOO forward to my next round!! Best to let the grips set overnight before use (Google recommended) Happy Golfing!

The tools are great for a diy. The grips are ok, not sticky at all but can do the job. I installed them on my gf clubs (she doesn’t play a lot) but would not install them on my clubs

For the price I would buy it again. Be generous when applying solvent into the rubber handle and on the shaft. If you use a large container to catch the liquid that spills you can re-use it for when enough drips into the container. If you don’t wet the inside of the handle and club shaft enough it will be extremely challenging to slide the new handle on. Once you start putting the rubber handle on do not stop or it will be really hard to put it on completely. When you apply the tape, remove the blue plastic side first and stick that side onto your club shaft. It makes peeling off the white strips off way easier and you will see what I mean. I re-gripped 12 of my clubs, the first two were not that great, but the rest went easy.
