A reasonably priced cd/car radio.
Having just purchased a newer car and fi ding the radio not working, I purchased this one as an alternative. Easy to fit i am now enjoying both the cd and radio. Recommended.

Good product. I am very happy with it.The only drawback I have noticed is that the radio station buttons numbered 1 to 6 are small. However it is quite manageable.Overall I am very happy with the product.

Decent Stereo
Quality as you would expect from Pioneer. The app is a bit annoying as it autostarts every time you start your car, so I uninstalled it.

Very easy to use, looks and sounds great.
I swapped this into my R53 cooper S 2005 with ease. The original head unit had no aux, Bluetooth or anything in the realm of quality soundm this unit fixed all these issues and works flawlessly. The Bluetooth connects fast and is very stable. Sound quality has improved dramatically even with no new speaker modifications.

Terrible third party software required.
In order to use the Bluetooth features you have to install The “Pioneer smart sync app”. It is slow, endlessly consumes your battery and is presumably just another security vulnerability. Whenever you are not planning on using you car you have to manually pause the app.If you do not then set the mode on the unit to “spotify” rather than “bluetooth” not all the features work. Sometimes the features don’t work until you have restarted the app. I hate this app. It is frustrating that installing this sort of low quality bloatware has become so normalised.
