Excellent
Such a high video quality and microphone sound. It was literally plug and play so there was no difficulties my I use it in a laptop and it can be adjusted to fit wider monitors. Great value for money ! Would absolutely recommend.

Works well but remember to configure it properly
Looks cheap, but that's mainly because it's so light. High resolution, with stereo microphones - but you have to make sure your computer is set up to recognise it, otherwise you could get a default lo-res mono mode. Mine has the mounting hole for a tripod, but no tripod supplied. That turned out not to matter so much, as it sits happily ontop of a monitor, with the aid of a little Blu Tack. 90° Doesn't sound like a wide angle view, but it makes a dramatic difference from a standard cheap webcam, which only shows your head and shoulders, even sitting quite far away. This one at the same distance, shows my whole upper body, and the floor behind me. This helps a lot, both for showing more body language and hence better communication, but also enabling you to demonstrate props. It may necessitate the use of a Zoom etc backdrop, to hide all the junk now visible behind you. You have to stick the privacy flap on yourself, for some reason, but as long as you're careful to align it properly in the closed position before exposing the adhesive, there's no need to worry.

Decent web cam!
A decent web cam that works great for the price. There are better cameras out there, but for what we needed it for, this does the job!

Poor value for money
This has a glitchy picture, and the sound has now completely stopped working, and I cannot return to Amazon.

Rather zoomed out lads
decent but why can i see the entire country in this webcam? it is so zoomed out man. no one needs to see all this. you cannot zoom in either so i guess my business is everyone else's now. ggs xoxoxoox

This webcam is sleek, and the setup was surprisingly hassle-free – no tech headaches here. The tripod is a nifty addition; it offers the flexibility to adjust the angle perfectly, making it a breeze to switch between professional meetings and casual video calls. The microphone is impressively clear; no more sounding like a robot during online discussions. The video quality is sharp, and the wide-angle lens captures more of the action, which is great for virtual group chats. It's a versatile setup that I've used for work, online classes, and even virtual hangouts with friends. The compact size makes it easy to take on the go, and the sturdy build gives me confidence in its durability. If you're venturing (or stuck in) into the world of virtual communication, this webcam is a reliable and user-friendly tool that enhances your online presence without breaking the bank!

I got this webcam because I had another webcam that needs a tripod. it was cheaper to get this kit and just use the tripod, than to buy a separate tripod. It turns out.... this webcam is actually better than the other, more expensive webcam. The viewing angle of this webcam claims 90 degrees. I could probably measure it, and maybe I will. But the "other" webcam claims to have a viewing angle of 110 degrees. The viewing angle of this webcam is actually wider than the one with 110 degrees. What's more.. .the image from the other webcam has the curvature distortion that you'll sometimes get with wide angle lenses. I don't know if this camera is adjusting for that... or what. But the image from this doesn't have distortion. And the image is more clear. So, even though this camera is about 1/2 the price of the other... I'm planning to use this one. The tripod is very nice. It compacts down into a small self-contained little thing. It's very secure. it holds the camera at the height you set it at. The height range is very good. There are 3 segments of about 5" each. The shortest it can be is 5". The tallest it can be is 12". Even at 12", the tripod is very stable. The cord is sufficiently long that I don't need any sort of extension cable.

work really well for its price, and the quality is actually surprisingly good. Obviously the only downside is the mic quality isn’t good and you can’t twist the cam left to right for adjustments, only up and down.

I can definitely say, after hooking up this camera, that it does its job perfectly. The video quality for making video calls was perfectly clear. The audio aspect was equally impressive. The microphones seemed to pick up the voice from a couple of feet away from it (sitting at the computer desk) but wasn't overwhelmed by any background noise. Whether this is a design function utilizing noise cancellation or just a matter of it not being a very noisy environment remains to be seen. The snap down cover for privacy is about as basic as it gets. A well fitting plastic lens blocker on a hinge, but really what more do you need to achieve those results? The only complaint I would have (and it's being very very picky I suppose) is the way it "mounts" on the monitor. While it initially sat quite still and steady, as soon as I reached up to tweak the positioning it shifted all over the place. This was very easily rectified, however, with about 5 cents worth of electrical tape to hold the clip solidly to the top/back of the monitor. So in reality, it's not so much a "complaint" about it as a VERY minor inconvenience. In summary, high quality, great sound, great picture, very easy to install and use. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable camera with built in mic.
