Works Great & Easy to Use and Install
Installed on a 2021 F150 XLT. Works as it should with great, easy to use adjustability. Been using Tekonsha products for years and they've never let me down. During transit, the wiring on my trailer wore a hole and split a couple wires. The unit alerted me to the issue. I repaired the wiring and away we went. Much better peace of mind than an analog unit. The only issue I had was where to mount it. You need to consider this before purchase. The screen is only viewable from above the unit. If mounted at an angle on the lower dash, understand you may not be able to see the screen.

Simple, quick install and works great!
Install was simple and instructions are clear and install took about 45 minutes with the wiring harness that is made for my truck. Tested on my cargo trailer and it works great. I highly recommend this controller

About to buy a fourth one
These brake controllers hit the sweet spot of price and performance. All the more expensive controllers give you are generally pointless options (multiple trailers, 360 mounting, fancy screen, etc). Even people like me with multiple trailers and vehicles will probably NEVER use any of these extra features. In the end, they just waste your money and make the brake controller more complicated to use. This controller functions exactly as one should. With no trailer, you don't even notice it's there. The display isn't intrusive, and completely shuts off aside from a small, dim light to let you know it still works. With a trailer, it just works. The controls are simple, the boost functions are easy to use and understand, and the adjustability is straightforward. Installation is as easy as any other brake controller, and at 70 degrees you'd be hard pressed to find a spot it won't work in. Braking action is smooth and consistent, and the manual override works as it should. The display tells you whether it's connected, and how much power it's feeding to the brakes, and that's about it. Fantastically simple and effective. Long story short, I already installed 3 of them in 3 separate vehicles, and we just purchased an '03 Explorer that will be the fourth. We use this mainly for a 3 horse slant.

Great brake controller, easy install.
Installed this brake controller on a 2000 F350 Powerstroke. It took about 5 minutes, very easy to do. Hooked it up to my dump trailer and tuned it. It works very well. I used this aftermarket wiring harness>>https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09HTSV4LF?ref=fed_asin_title Definitely recommend.

Excellent controller
Works great. proportional braking is great. It knows if the vehicle is slowing even without applying the brake. It also knows if you are going uphill or downhill (I think). My vehicle did not have a factory plug in so I had to manually wire the pig tail. But the pig tail was just a tad shorter than I needed. Frustrating to splice just a short length of wire to make it reach. It is nice and small. my knee doesn't hit it and I mounted it where I could see the displace and reach it.

Used the Plastic Holder
I couldn't figure out how to use the more flexible holder for the unit. Instead, I used the one position plastic holder. I was drilling into plastic, so being more precise lining up the one position unit seemed less work than figuring out how I was going to use the multi-directional holder. Nearest I could figure out, if I used the multi-position holder then I would have had to drill into the unit itself. I couldn't see taking that risk when I needed this thing to work. I will accept having to look a quarter of an inch another direction over having to puncture the unit to mount it, and having that be its undoing. Otherwise the thing worked fine. It seemed correctly set on the initial setting of 6. It worked well enough that I was confident taking the trailer down a Colorado mountain pass in the middle of December. If I wasn't confident, I could have taken a longer, and flatter, way around. I had to drive through a lot of 25 mph switchbacks. It did fine. There was more than one YouTube video for my particular vehicle. Humanity is so good.

Great controller.
2018 f-150. Way better than the factory setup.

Works great!
This was my first time using an inertial brake controller as opposed to the ones that just engage the brake over a couple of seconds. I’ll never go back!
