Heavy duty but outdated.
Loved the phone doesn't work with Google Fi unfortunately. But I'd you want a heavy duty phone to call and text this is it.

Not recommended as a purchase for any amount.
I apologise but this phone is terrible.(I have had this phone now for almost a year and have had to revert to my old samsung S5 periodically to keep my sanity which has now has glitches in the screen and a bad speaker)I bought this phone on the premise it would basically last me forever (not really forever but a very long time). I wasn't too concerned with speed as long it ran like a standard phone and it functioned effectively as a phone.Pro: It has an amazingly loud speaker like a boom box. It can be impressive at times.Con: The speaker is sharp and hurts the ears with certain tones. It cuts in and out if other apps are running as well. The phone operating hardware is really slow. (Irritatingly slow, not just a little bit slow)Multiple apps have difficulty running at the same time and opening apps take a long time and usually crash. For example: Shazam crashes continuously (if it ever loads to take a music sample before the song finishes)Google maps struggle hard on this phone.Currently nearing 6 -7 months of use (periodically through out a year) The phone speaker when not on loud speaker doesn't work any more (Argh!)The port for the headphones doesn't work a lot of the time (if not all the time)Pro: I have taken it through muddy wet conditions and it held up.Pro: The touchscreen is really good when using wet hands or gloves.Pro: It last a long time on 1 charge - 4 days with use.Cons: The casing dents and the screen came scratched. The phone can take a hammering but will show the dents because of the plastic yellow border.Summary: I bought a brick for $600 dollars (Literally). I am really disappointed in this purchase and made me wary of new tech boasting big things.

Nice but has issues
I wanted to really like the phone. It's bulky tough and battery life is really good.Even tho it it's running older android I believe 5.4 it's not too bad. Kind slow but I didn't get it for the speed and to play games. I got it because it would work with Mint mobile, get me on the internet when needed, Google maps (cheap plan for data and phone) and the dedicated ptt button for Zello. I wanted to use it for biking and for trail riding in Florida since it water resistant and can take a beating I wouldn't have to worry about bringing my smart phone that cost me 1,100 bucks. The issue I have is that it wouldnt hold signal. It wasn't that it wouldn't hold it while traveling or moving, it was while standing in one spot the signal would go from full signal to no signal back to half signal and keep bouncing around but never stay consistent. I didn't expect it to have superb signal like my samsung because it is a 2015 phone, but I did expect that the signal would stay consistent. Therefore I am going to have to return the phone and just buy a cheaper smart phone that if damaged won't kill the pocketbook.

Sonim Xp7 smart phone
Got mine on Monday 7/20. I have a sonim xp6, and have tried tp find an xp7 for over 6 months. I finally was able to purchase from Kickmobiles. They are great to work with. Was shipped out last Wed. Would have gotten it Friday, but was out of town. This phone is absolutely perfect. I love my xp6, but the xp7 has a larger screen. Both are great phones. I work in a factory with a lot of heat and dust, and these phones perform great with no problems. I highly recommend these, especially the xp7 if you want a larger screen. The only issue I have with Sonim is that you cannot add a memory card. But, with 16gb, the phone will hald far more than I will ever put on it. The phone is ready to go right out of the box. I set it up in less then 3 minutes to my accounts, and completed charging. I really love the 100 decible speaker on these phones. Very loud.

I'm not impressed with the xp7and I bought it brand ...
I'm not impressed with the xp7and I bought it brand new . the colors and functions of the software are dated .There is a software update I have 5.1 but it's still the same dated graphics. Everything runs choppy on it and I can't seem to go forward on a web page after going back. If u look at the pic there's only a back button
