Only important note: there is no hardware kit included with the pads.I am now an Akebono convert after having these pads in all my previous cars.I buy higher mileage cars and switching to these pads always fixes the vibration and noise problems while increasing braking power. (of course I re-lube and grease the calipers)

Great Pads for Its Intended Application
These are not for the strongest and shortest race car like stopping, but they do stop very well, inspiring confidences while being perfectly tamed for luxury tier vehicles.For example, a sportier car will have a harsher ride quality, because of its stiffened suspensions versus a (high-performance) mid to luxury vehicles which will sway more, but will also absorb road bumps and skips.That was the honest and best I can describe these brake pads characteristics. Yes I recommend them over whatever OEM Acura uses, because they initially do feel and perform better then stock.

Great brake pads for much less than from dealer
I was in need for brake pads/rotors for my 2006 RL, and after looking at some prices from the dealer, even at cost I decided to try and find an aftermarket alternative. The dealer was quoting me about $620 in parts for just the front rotors, and front and rear pads, plus labor. I was able to buy all 4 rotors, and pads for $300 and labor was $100 at a local shop.Overall brake design is identical in looks compared to OEM, the brake feel is identical to OEM, I am using centric premium rotors front and back, the braking might be slightly improved and everything cost me less than just some of the OEM parts.There is some brake dust on the front wheels, but nothing more/less than the oem setup I had before. So I am a happy camper.

Really fantastic brake pads, noiseless as if it has Dolby C noise reduction. No dust.And above all I look forward applying my brakes, taken down freeway driving just to use my brakes.
