Dress Like a Pirate Women's Medieval Renaissance Wench Princess Blouse

For the quality of the material and workmanship, this blouse is not worth $44. The only two choices listed in the size drop down box are "One Size" and "Plus Size", and instead of being defined in the "Size Chart", where I'd think most people would normally look, the measurement for the only two choices of O/S and Plus are listed down in the Product Description at the bottom. According to the seller, the measurements mean that an One Size blouse ranges in size from S-XL and Plus size top comes in 3X only. I had to return the blouse because the 3X is too large and it was not adjustable. Also about 3 inches of the hem was falling out and had noticeably loose thread hanging down. Furthermore, be aware that if you return the blouse because it doesn't fit well, the shipping costs are on you, because the seller only refunds the item cost of $44. I was told they only return the total costs when the item is defective.

This is my first review of anything and I love this shirt. I got it in the teal and the color in person is lovely. I plan to wear it at a ren faire this year. Something I really like about this sleeve type (that isn't shown in the pictures) is that the two 'runched' areas on the sleeve can be brought up to the elbow for a lovely full 3/4 sleeve. It gives a beautiful draped fabric effect while leaving your hands free from obstruction for sword fights and the like.I hope they eventually make a princess sleeve shirt with a hi-low hem like the cutlass blouse! It would be amazing. :)

This shirt is gorgeous- nice fabric and vivid color. It seemed a bit pricey, but given the good quality and style, I think it is worth it.I take one star off, as the sizing combined with the model photo is a bit misleading.The skirt part of the shirt (below the smocking) is shorter than it appears on the photo. I think the model must be super-tiny. I am 5'2", weigh 121, and currently wear about a size 6 pants. I expected the skirt part of the blouse to reach about crotch length, lower hip, and it reaches mid hip. I am big shouldered, so that may have brought up the length a bit, but I am also small busted. Based on the size listing and the phoot, I thought the shirt would be generously cut, It is on every other dimension but length. I expected to be able to wear this with leggings, with some coverage of my backside, but I don't feel like it is long enough.However, while I am disappointed in the length, I still may buy more products from this seller, as the shirt, otherwise, is very pretty, and I have gotten a ton of compliments on it.

I actually was very very pleasantly surprised with this top I'm a 12/14 size. I bought two different ones from Amazon and thought this one was the gamble, I was wrong. The material is very nice (for a Halloween costume), more than enough room but not too much. You can cover or reveal as much as you wan on top, I love the elastic bands around the arms, gives it texture. The cinched waist and flare areas look great. This works well as the under shirt for a costume, I purchased this to be able to use yearly for Halloween (Steampunk, vampire, wench, pirate, etc), it is great paired with a corset. As you can see in the picture they provide it is see through. I figure you can either work with it and show off a nice layered piece underneath (black/red lacy bra), or go with a neutral color.

Pretty teal color, substantial fabric, but still cool and breathable. The crinkle weave is great, no ironing! Very adjustable fit, easy to put on or off shoulders, raise or lower neckline with the drawstring. It's a nice length, to my lower hip; I'm 5'5". The elastic in the sleeves is helpful too, since you can push the cuffs up to get the sleeves out of your way. The smocked waistline is very forgiving; I bought the 2XL. I think I could have sized down, though I didn't because I was concerned about the bust fitting comfortably. (I usually wear a 16, and am 36H.)

Bought this shirt years ago to dress up as a pirate fairy with my daughter for Halloween. It was so comfy that I started wearing it during the hot summers. It does need some sort of bodice though and I don't suggest wearing it without one unless you're just around the house or something.

This is really cute! I haven't washed it yet so I don't know how it will look then. Will try to remember to update this then.I should have bought a size smaller, but then, as I noted, I haven't washed it yet so maybe I'll be glad that I got what I did.It covers my bootie nicely and is very flattering around the bust area. I like that the sleeves have elastic in two places so you can go for different looks.Very cute with leggings and a choker!

I bought a skirt from this company in plus size, and it was too big and had to be altered in a 4-5 inches. So when I bought this I went with the smaller size expecting it to be sized the same, and it's a bit weird on me, and fits kind of silly on my chest. It's cute, but I can't wear it without a bodice over it because the elastic on the waist just looks wrong. I don't know what to expect from the plus sized shirt, maybe it would have fit differently. I would have returned this and ordered a plus sized one if I hadn't needed it for work the day after I got it.
