100% get this shower diverter chosen in black thanks to ChatGPT was the perfect fit for my previous shower head bronze and gooseneck bronze rod replacement for my apartment. I am 5 foot 3. This 3 way diverter glides effortlessly from my handheld to my showerhead or has equal pressure for both! It’s fantastic and was assembled and attached in less than five minutes. If I can do it, you can definitely do it! I ended up screwing it on and having the lever to go up and down on the right hand side, which I’m totally fine with which means my hose attachment or handheld does come across as shown in my photo and hangs and attaches at the top, the picture shows it just resting on the shower caddy. I was not gonna mess with it since it was a perfect and not spraying out in all directions from the diverter. I did not want it crooked. That was the goal and I did not want it leaking success five stars. I can’t believe I waited this long with just the handheld because I purchased the wrong diverter previously.

I purchased this to connect another shower head to my walk-in shower. Easy to install. Works great! Highly recommend.

I bought this adapter because the arm on the second showerhead connection is supposed to swivel. This is the only one I have found that offers this nice feature. I think the connector was intended for a hose attachment, but I wanted something to attach a rain-style showerhead. I gave this unit four stars instead of five for two minor reasons: (1) The swiveling piece actually unscrews as it turns, instead of just rotating. It also cannot be placed in a fixed position, as it seems to be intended to move with the weight of whatever it is attached to. I managed to find a position facing downward where it would stay in place, and overall, it seems to work well for my purposes. (2) The second reason is the nut that attaches to the shower bar is incredibly short. I could only see two threads above the washer. I used it anyway, and it doesn't seem to leak, so perhaps short is okay for it. The unit is a high-quality part with no plastic. The knob to change water flows is nice and easy to use. Water seems to flow out of both shower heads with no degradation, so likely does not contain a flow restrictor.

This was perfect for what I was trying to do. I now have a shower head that has a little more angle ability so it does not hit the back wall of the shower and spill out to the floor. In addition I bought a sliding detachable shower head to put in for my youngest child to begin using. This diverter allows me to use the fixed shower head and detachable shower head in the same bath tub space! Feels great, very solid, works incredibly well. I guess if I had to pick something to change it would be to change the valve handle so it could be controlled on both sides of the diverter as it ends up facing the wall side of the shower so it is hard to change this outside the shower enclosure without getting wet. Not a huge deal, but occasionally comes up.

Attaching this diverter was way cheaper than purchasing a shower head and handheld shower combo. It was very easy to install. Just make sure your shower head is small enough so it's not in the way of the handheld.

I found this product to be of very good quality. Actually, I used this product in conjunction with a shower extension bar and a rainforest shower head. I needed the diverter for the existing shower handle to work as well. Easy to install. Some care is needed in tightening - don't overtighten - just until it won't turn any more. Works great! It was actually for my girlfriend's tub who has a hard time washing her hair in the kitchen sink.
