Still Standing!
The media could not be loaded. I have had this 25' flagpole up with two 3'x5' flags for a month now and it is still standing. I live on the water on a bit of land that just out into an exposed bay. The fall weather and frequent storms bring the wind. The last few days we've had the winds on the tail of a nor'easter with gusts up to 50 mph or more. As I'm writing this the winds are increasing and a piece of furniture just blew over but the flags are still flying! This gets 2 thumbs up from me.Edit: We had a Nor'Easter blow through here the other day on the anniversary of Sandy. Winds up to near 80mph. I took the flags down when the flagpole was flexing past >20°. It is still perfectly straight. This was a good buy.2nd Edit: Nearing the end of November and it is still standing! We've had a few more big storms blow through here on The Great Bay. The flags are still flying and the flag pole is still perfectly straight.

Great flagpole
Love my new flagpole. Was pretty easy to install with the aluminum sections. Seams to be a bit flimsy but has held up pretty well with a lot of very windy days we’ve had

The pole was great...
This flagpole set was very good... Pole was easy to install... The flag itself and the rope that came with it were kind of cheap... The rope only lasted about 3 months and I was not about to put up that flag honoring our country.

Holding up well - with mods
So I've had a flagpole at our old house and I did the same thing with this one. First I ran a self tapping screw through the plastic sleeve into the aluminum pole to hold it in place (this stops it from being lifted out in heavy winds). Second I only used four sections as opposed to five - so it's 16' tall, plenty tall for a 3x5 flag. We've had several 30+ mph winds come through and it holds up fine. I did the four sections because my old flagpole at our last house and had a 4x6 flag on the 20' pole - it fell over in a wind storm and bent one of the sections so I put it back together with only the four and it held together for years with the 4x6 flag. Figured I'd just do the same with this one and it's working great. I gave four stars for install because the sections aren't labeled and you need to assemble in a specific order - I guessed - also, there are a couple where the poles are inside another so you need to look carefully.

Disappointed
Assembly and install went as expected the rope that came with it wasn’t very good and the carbines included are not very strong I Replaced the rope 2 as well as carabiners weeks after putting it up I was expecting better quality the flag supplied started unraveling within the first week of flying

Final Review and it goes in the trash! Sooooo ... First Impressions! ****6 Month Review Update,
***2 year update, this is third time the flag pole has broken due to wind. I would not recommend this flag pole unless you are looking for a temporary one. There is nothing Heavy Duty about it. Mines going in the trash and looking for a pole that will last. As anything in life, we get what we pay for.**6 month review after purchase! As you can see, and as I predicted, the flag pole is not very heavy duty, I even sleeved the first 12 feet of the aluminum flag pole with the old galvanized flag pole! Time to find a flag pole that’s “really” heavy duty! The thickness of the pole at the base is less than 1/8-inch … not very heavy duty!I am in no way just being a jerk to knock a product--I used to review products professionally! This is my unbiased professional opinion. The quality of the pole and its accessories are noticebly cheap. The ball on top is thinly colored plastic, the pully for the rope and the cleat are plastic! No plastic like this will stand up to the desert sun. I am curious if it has any UV protection? The aluminum poles wall-diameter is really thin. There is nothing heavy-duty about it. The American flag is so cheap I am not even going to put it up, I'll have to drive to town to get another one that's made in the good ol' U.S.A. If I grasp the pole and giggle it will wiggle around at each joint. I have a weekend place in the high-desert, it's very windy, we took bets on how long this will last, I give it one month. I could be wrong but I think I just wasted $90! I will definitely update this post.

bought it for pole only.
I bought this for the 'pole' only. I use it for a blade antenna for a signal booster on side of house. Now, all that said, it came with a USA flag. If you are buying this for a "flag pole" I would give it 1 star. The USA flag that came with it is absolute garbage quality. (you can see right through the flag and one side is discolored). It was respectfully disposed of. The grommets to attach the flag are very cheaply made and broke in my hands just messing with it. Now imagine if I actually put a flag in the wind on it? Pretty sure the flag would just 'break off' and float away. The pole itself is 'ok'. It does compact down to under 5'. It locks by twisting it. Again, not too sure that type of locking feature will stay 'locked' in a strong wind with a flag on it. The other flag pole I have (for my flag) has locking pins. Would I buy it again... not for a flag pole, that is for certain. To use it for what I use it for to attach a blade antenna on it? Maybe.

Awesome Flag Pole Kit
I ordered the wrong kit, which is 100% my fault, but I’m pleased with it. If a bad storm is a brewing I can easily remove the flag and pole!I didn’t come with footing instructions, which wasn’t an issue for me, but could be for other people. I went heavy on the footing 24” diameter x 36” deep with concrete and 6”-8” of small stone under Under to drain water. Pitched the top of footing to shed water. I used 5ea 80lb and 1ea 60lb bags of concrete mixed with 20lbs of quick set on top to prevent the sleeve from moving off plumb.
