Dunlop FL02R Fasel Inductor, Red

I wasn't expecting much; boy, was I wrong. Before installing this little bit of magic my "wah" was "naah". Dull, lifeless, a hit or miss prospect at best. But then I installed this, and OH MY LIVING GOD ON EARTH! Completely transformed everything I thought a WAH! could be. The soaring tones, the incredible depth and perspective; more Jungian than Freud, if you know what I mean. When off, it seems to still add a bit of sparkle, everything seems brighter, but moody - almost an ethereal sound... try it, you'll maybe sorta' feel okay about it...

I like it. I have it and a Whipple Halo Inductor that I purchased off Ebay. In my opinion, the red Fasel produces more of a classic wah sound (more treble-y), while the Whipple produces more of a full sound (more bass-y).

Exactly what I ordered, really changed the range for my crybaby wah pedal that I picked up for $15. Its a great starting mod, you can really hear a difference. Its a bang for you buck

I think I paid around 13 bucks for this to stick into as the varitone guitars inductor I kinda made.It makes a small difference, especially at cleaner volumes

This gave my old crybaby new life and a fuller, more vintage sound. Definitely worth it!

received item and installed according to what online research indicated was correct replacing the stock tdk inductor in a 70s thomas cry baby - the function of the fasel was more like a volume change with little if any wah sound so i cannot say (if i installed it correctly) that it measures up to the hype

this item works great. took a little bit to get to me. but the post office was holding on to it.

L'induttanza nell'effetto wah è in sostanza quel componente elettronico che contribuisce massivamente a creare il timbro dell'effetto stesso: se il fasel giallo è più indicato per la musica funky, per cui con ampli utilizzati sul canale pulito, il fasel rosso è al contrario più ruvido e sgarbato, non a caso è quello utilizzato nel wah del genio chitarristico di Hendrix, orientato dunque verso una timbrica rock senza compromessi, psichedelica e sognante. Insomma, un classicone che con due saldature di numero potete installare nel vostro wah al posto di quello presente che, quasi sicuramente (e specie nei pedali wah più economici), sarà di qualità inferiore. Al limite controllate bene prima di effettuare l'upgrade, ma immagino che non ne rimarrete delusi. :D
