Kit is all you need for a small area, I have this on some Pots and ground plants, emitters are good quality and do not clog, also includes a bug cap. Tubing is firm and holds up in heat not like the flimsy ones in box stores. This kit can also be use to extend another rain bird drip system, instructions are clear and I’ve had this for 18 months now with no issues. I'm fairly happy with it after buying a lot of extra parts to set up a bigger system than this kit was made for. Pros: - Not particularly difficult to set up - Not super expensive - Waters your plants as advertised - Works great with a watering timer - The fasteners, hose-securing stakes, etc are pretty clever and work better than you would expect for cheap plastic crap Cons: - Takes a lot of hand strength to force the hoses onto the coupler barbs - Nearly impossible to disassemble without cutting the hoses - Two of the T-couplers were bad -- one had a leak, and one had a port closed off by plastic. You can't really tell until everything is assembled, and disassembly is basically impossible, so I had to chop the bad parts out of the system by cutting the attached hoses shorter. - The fine-mesh filter-gasket that comes with the regulator didn't fit with the watering timer I bought, so I had to swap some parts around to make it all screw together and seal My plants are now automatically watered daily and the system is working great.
