Closest you can get to homemade
A friend of mine makes the. best tasting homemade strawberry jam, and when I ran out of my supply and couldn't get more I started tasting around for a commercial substitute. This jam is the absolute closest thing and I have tried a LOT. It's not crazy sweet like some of the cheaper ones, and it's nice and dense and chunky - full of fruit. It's also got a tanginess that a lot of other jams are lacking - like a little bit of lemon juice in the recipe to brighten up the flavor. It's the best one, trust me!

It arrived smashed, broken glass and melted contents smeared all over inside of package.
Item supposedly cannot be replaced? Unacceptable as delivered smashed, broken with melted contents . Waste of money as not edible and dangerous glass pieces.

Very messy. Leaked all over before delivery.
I haven't opened it yet because it was super messy. It leaked all over the wrapping and the jar. The flavor is probably good.

This is my favorite Strawberry Jam
If you want strawberry Jam that tastes like your Mom or Grandmother used to make, this is as close as it gets. I find it far superior to Smuckers (which I think is fine, but nothing special.) It is made with just the basic ingredients, which is why I think it tastes so good. I felt compelled to write this review after reading the other neutral review, not sure what the other person was hoping for, but my discerning taste buds find a big difference between this jam and the more commercial varieties. With that said, it is all natural, so this is as good as it gets with strawberries, sugar, pectin and citric acid (pretty much identical to what my grandmother made). I LOVE it!

Not a super hero but fine in a jam
There is nothing wrong with this jam, it is made with real fruit and tastes like it. I suppose that should earn it 5 stars. The issue is it tastes like every other strawberry jam and I had read on Consumer Reports that this was the best tasting strawberry jam ever, now that raises the bar and lowers the stars.
