CAN'T BEAT IT!
Some reviews say that the step counter is not accurate, but like many pedometers, you need to set your stride. Ok.. it takes some work to get it to calculate your steps correctly but don't give up. I am 5"9" and had to set my steps to 12 inches although I actually have a 34" stride. I also set the sensitivity to Low to get it to properly calculate my steps. I tested this calculation against my clip on pedometer and phone and it worked. So play around with it. Once you read the directions and play with it, it is really easy to understand. It resets itself everyday with a 50 day memory in case you want to view your progress. I bought it because I can use it while in the pool and the cost was simply AMAZING. It looks expensive also and packs more than I thought it would for the price.

Hard to use for its most important purpose
This is a decent watch is all you want is a watch, but you can get one of those much cheaper than this. What I expected to get here was a watch and an easy to use heart monitor. But it happens that the heart monitor is VERY difficult to use. How do you use it? You just place your finger and thumb on the right place on the circular ring around the watch face, and viola, your heart rate appears on the screen. EXCEPT that it is very hard to get your finger and thumb on EXACTLY the correct spot at EXACTLY the correct pressure to get the heart rate reading. Press too hard or too softly at someplace other than the precise spot (which isn't marked, it's approximately 12 and 6 o'clock on the imaginary dial), and you get nothing, nada.I kept the watch for several days and tried it many times, and it never worked well or consistently. Sometimes I got a reading, but more times I did not. And this was all trying to get a readout in my easy chair, not during a more challenging time like between exercise segments, when I really wanted to use it. Thanks to Amazon's excellent return policies I returned it for a refund. I didn't get it for free, and the refund was the most satisfying part of my short ownership of this watch.

Not what I expected.
The watch is okay it just does not do what it says it does. I should have known it would not tell me how many calories I burn based on my heart rate because I needed no chest strap. It also says it tells you how many calories you burn while working out. To me unless I am doing something wrong it only burns calories based on the steps you take. I tried other activities and it did not work. The step counter is not accurate. I am very disappointed with this watch but I guess it is a different type of tracker. It came packaged really well though.

MY TUSHI PULSE WATCH LASTED FOUR MONTHS
THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE VERY HARD TO READ AS THE PRINT IS SMALLER THAN ANY INSTRUCTIONS I HAVE EVER HAD FOR ANYTHING. I BOUGHT THE WATCH IN MID AUGUST 2015 AND IT RAN FINE UNTIL LAST WEEK WHEN IT DIED. I REPLACED THE BATTERY BUT THE WATCH IS TERMINAL. FOR THE PRICE, I ASSUME YOU MUST BE PREPARED FOR A SHORT LIFE, BUT 4 MONTHS IS PRETTY SHORT. THE PULSE READING MODE DOES WORK WELL - I HAVE ATRIAL FIBRILLATION AND IT READ MY PULSE IN SPITE OF THAT.

Not worth $50 for several reasons. First, the pedometer is entirely inaccurate; if you are just walking, the step count will be accurate. However, if you keep it on you throughout the day it will register miles above your actual count. For example, as required by work, I keep my cell phone on me at all times, which as a pedometer as well and the watch will register about 14 miles throughout the day and my phone will say 8 (my phone uses a real gps too). Also, after about the first two weeks of wearing the watch it does not register my heart rate anymore if I am doing physical activity. The first week it was extremely reliable and very quickly diminished. I went off all the reviews that were on this site, but for all I know they were written by the company from the watch I received.Exactly one month after I bought it the metal rings broke off so the heart rate monitor no longer works either.

Mainly a watch that somewhat keeps your step count and gives the time and date nothing more. I really wanted to like this product but after three weeks of owing it the sensor pulse stop working. I like that it looks manly with a large display but that's about all I like about it. Again, mainly a watch nothing more.

It's ok for a watch, but the pedometer is not accurate at all. Walked 200 steps while sitting still. When you are walking it doubles and triples your steps. Pulse reader seams accurate.
