Games on Horseback

This book is just what I needed for my research. It has plenty of different ideas for fun mounted games & gives good descriptions & ideas for variations on each game.

Some of the games I would expect and some new ones.

Fun ideas. Many I have seen before but a few that I will use for my therapeutic riding class.

I bought this as a reference for a camp for kids with cancer and it is perfect. It has beginner to advanced games and suggestions for variations. Highly recommend it.

Though an older book, I got some great ideas for my summer classes from this book. Definitely worth the buy!

I love this book. There are games that introduce the beginner rider to horsemanship on to the advanced competitor. I love that you can introduce something new to your riders and keep it pretty fresh.

This book contains some great kids (and adult) games on horseback. This book looks dated from the pictures but goes into detail about each game and provides some diagrams as well as pictures.

This is an exceptional resource for any equine program. We are putting it to good use for our summer camp, saddle club, as well as 4H Equine Club! So many great ideas, so little time!

Wasn't sure what I had ordered, but was pleasantly surprised. Simple, do-able games, guidance in how to apply and suggestions of how each game helps to improve the riders abilities. Would like to have seen more games for the lone rider, but the ideas provided are able to be altered to suit the circumstances.

Great book for instructors planning on working with children. Straight forward lesson plans, and easy to read format, detailed descriptions and illustrations. Lots of easy to use games for all levels of riders.

I was looking for different things to do with myolder horses. Games are fun for rider & horse,so I'm looking forward to playing broom ballthis spring. Well written & illustrated.
