There is no volume or power button. The buttons are great for my special education students.

Flip switch to record, press & record message. Switch back to play, press button and message is played. Doesn't get much simpler. Good way to leave messages for spouse/kids!

Very simple gift that is fun to mess with. Just record whatever you want and set it. Hit the button and you can hear it over and over again. Great gag gift, or fun gift for kids.

I ordered the two pack for the grinch for christmas. I recorded from the film clips and the grandkids love it.my stuffed grinch is stuffed with plastic bags and bubble wrap..... the grandkids are waiting for him to move...lol

My dog loves it for telling me which treats she wants! Lots of fun!

Right out of the box one didn't work.

Easy to use. Bought for a science fair poster, but sound was distractingly poor.

We bought four to train our cats. "Treats" and "Laser" (pointer) are the two that they've been most interested in.The sound quality isn't the best - adequate for the job.The button colors can be swapped - we ended up with two blue devices with yellow buttons. There are four small Phillips screws under each footpad. Note the orientation of the outer case with the bottom, because the screw holes are not symmetrical.With the devices opened, just swap the buttons. The buttons fit only one way, but it's obvious how they go in. The "spring" for the buttons is just two foam pads. If the buttons are too hard to push (or too soft) replace the foam.
