500 mg Fermented; 250 mg Non Fermented
Dr. Mercola is one of my favorite natural doctors and I have followed much of his advice for years now. All of his products are top quality and I trust them.I do have to point out or give a little clarification on the "fermentation" claims of this elderberry supplement. Read the label carefully and you will see that this isn't 100% fermented. 500 mg of the elderberry fruit powder is fermented but the other 250 mg are not. To me, it's not a big deal but to someone looking for a completely 100% fermented product, this might be. This is just something to note.As far as potency, this is a decent serving size for 2 capsules. I have used other supplements with higher dosages but this one is not as small as others I have tried either. It's decent.There are a total of 60 capsules in this bottle and the serving size is 2 capsules so you receive about a 30 day supply in this bottle.As you can see in my picture, the capsules are super small and are easy to take. I can swallow both at the same time with no problems.As far as the effectiveness, I have only been taking this for a short while so I don't know how they perform long term. I can say that I have been well and have not gotten sick, however. Seems to be a good bolster against cold and flu so far.
