The Final RIOT!

I very rarely if ever purchase cds anymore, but for this, I just had to get it. Paramore has slowly but surely turned into my favorite band in the past year or two, so I was really looking forward to the DVD with behind the scenes footage and live show. I'm not usually a fan of live cds, but with the extra stuff it definitely made it a must have.All the band behind the scenes stuff was great, though I found myself actually hoping for it to continue. More would have been amazing! It was interesting to see how they go about planning their live show & set list.I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the live tracks, but they grew on me and now I love the whole cd. You can tell even without watching the dvd that a lot of energy goes into their live performance. Great sound quality as well. Now that I've had this playing on my ipod since Christmas(it was totally a 'to me, for me, from me' xmas present) I'm really excited to seeing them tour with No Doubt.

I have only been listening to Paramore for a fairly short period. I was reluctant to buy The Final Riot because it only included music from the first two albums of the band and I personally like their more recent work better. However, I did not regret the purchase. This is an outstanding live performance, in which the band makes their music shine. Instruments and vocals sound great and have the quality of a studio recording with the extra spice of a live performance. If you like their music, then this is a must buy.I also enjoyed the "behind the scene" - footage on the DVD as a nice extra.

I think this dvd is awesome. It really shows how much goes into a concert really. Not to mention the things that go on tour. Living in a bus isn't easy and these guys are living proof of that. I mean one girl with all guys? jeez. I love the emotion that goes into some of these songs too. And I was impressed at how good they are live. They barely sound anything different from the record. Definitely worth it. Not to mention you can listen to the whole tour on the cd that comes with it. Cheers to this.

It's so rare for a band to sound better live than on a studio recording; but this one does. I had heard a few of the live cuts on pandora and saw a few of the clips from this DVD on youtube so I bought it. I was not disappointed. Each member of the band is a talented musician and Hayley, wow. If you like modern rock/alt rock bands, get this. This "CD" includes the concert DVD on a separate disc; a fact not patently clear from the Amazon description (at least when I bought it).

The sound is great for a live show event.Not on par with a real source Dolby Digital sound track, yet, I play it with simulated Dolby PL II in "music" setting and it comes out really good !Hence the 4 stars instead of 5.Haley is doing a great job on stage: she is dynamite !The CD sound is impeccable with great stereo separation.

I have been a fan of Paramore for years and have owned this particular item many times because I let a friend borrow it or it got lost during a move, but everytime it's gone, I grab another.

If you love Paramore then this CD is a must have. It being live makes it so much better than just the normal songs. This CD also comes with the DVD with footage of the concert and behind the scenes. The making of the concert is great and you get to see what it takes for a Paramore concert to be so great. Hayley Williams is always great and of course Jeremy and Josh and everyone else's craziness.

If I had to listen to only one album for the rest of my life, this would be the one.

This live album was recorded between the recording of the so-so Riot! and the outstanding brand new eyes, and it represents the band at an interesting point in their career. The package comprises of both a cd and a dvd - the etlist for both is the same, which is good. A lot of similar releases (Muse's HAARP or The Killers Live From The Royal Albert Hall) have a long setlist on the DVD but miss some out on the CD. That's not the case here. It's clear just from the audio that Paramore are a great live band; their musicianship is extremely professionaly, energy levels are always high (take Jeremy rolling over Josh's back on stage, BASS IN HAND!) but their material can let them down. There are some killer moments on this DVD, the long, building intro to opener 'Born For This,' The high octane 'For A Pessimist...,' 'When It Rains' and fan favourite non-album track 'Decoy' but in general this captures the group before their songs were consistently great, which if you own the newest record, you'll know they are now. That's why the DVD is good not great. Another plus side is the documentary included, which is thorough, including interviews with all the band members. The DVD presents the concert film and the doc together, chopping between them every four songs or so - personally I would reccomend watching them separately, which you can do in the options section of the DVD. If you're a Paramore fan, he this DVD is for you - obviously. If not particularly then definitely get their studio stuff first! But this is surely worth a purchase, especially for a fiver!

A great band and a great live performance.It's a bit annoying though that the concert is broken up by behind the scenes footage, especially since you can watch the whole behind the scenes footage on its own as a bonus feature.

What an incredible album! Always get goosebumps from the live cheering. Great selection of original songs and much better to hear them live! Truly recommend for any Paramore fan!

the CD and DVD both worked fine. Also liked that the DVD had separate concert-only and documentary-only, as well as the two interspersed. Certainly good value for money at four quid
