Perfect! One really happy customer! Thank you TTfone for your great service.
TTfone TitanThe new phone from TTfone looks great, whatsapp works really well and the menu is simple and easy. Great idea to have a touchscreen as that makes it much easier to choose options. Overall a great gift idea for an older relative that you want to stay in touch with as the phone has a feature where they press one button and the location of the Titan phone is sent as a google link to any phone you set. The phone is a good size with a grippy finish on the back so the phone does not slip out of your hand easily. The front screen is a good idea as you can see who is calling before you open the phone to pick up the call, you can also set a picture of the person calling although I havenβt tried that yet. Dock charger is handy and the delivery was really fast. Glad to see a 3G phone that actually works well for the elderly.

A decent basic phone with some clever features
I bought this for my 99 year old aunt to use when she moved into a care home. I was very pleased with the quality of the phone and thought the special features were cleverly designed. I particularly liked that you could add a name and number to the phone book along with a photograph of that person and record your voice stating that name. When the person phones up my aunt is told who it is which is very helpful. I spent ages uploading photo's of family members and recording all the names and was very chuffed with the end result. However I had overlooked one crucial fact which was that my aunt had never had a smart phone and never scrolled a screen before. Despite me showing her countless times how to touch the phonebook option and then scroll through to find the right name she cannot do it. She still looks in her notebook for a number and laboriously dials every one. What'sApp is totally beyond her and she has never mastered it despite having full capacity.None of these drawbacks are the phone's fault though and 18 months on it has been a reliable sturdy phone. For anyone used to a smart phone it is clear and simple to use as there is no cluttered home page covered in apps and I love the ability to record spoken names and add a photograph.Highly recommended.**EDIT**After nearly 4 years it's dead. Battery appears to be 100% but phone says it's flat. For the money, and for an elderly person to use, I still say it was good value. Really simple to use for basic functions. Can't believe the ridiculous reviews expecting it to be on a par with more expensive smart phones that you can load with lots of apps, what do you expect for goodness sake. It's a basic phone!!

Not on par with the price tag
I've kept this phone for months, deciding whether to use it or bin it. I so much wanted to use it, but in real life faced many letdowns with it. Let me name a few. First of all I wanted an android flip phone and this was it for the price since I can't afford the 1000 pound models. Phone doesn't come with Google Play and built-in Aptoide is a joke of a store. Many apps wouldn't even install (the ones I needed) let alone run. The kind of hardware it runs on would have been accepted 10 years ago, but not in a present day. No GPS means that you have to carry maps in your pocket. No accelerometer means that you can dream about watching YouTube in fullscreen on this huge 2.4" screen. WhatsApp? Meh. I tried calling and almost twisted my arm trying to look at the screen at the right angle to see person I was talking with. I managed to override the lack of built-in memory with SD card formatted as internal storage to be able to side load apps I use on other phones. I got a different launcher working on it. But I had to replace the dialer and messaging app as a result. Outlook worked out of the box on it. Most of the browsers crash. With about 10 essential apps installed phone was lagging so much that it was rendered unusable. I thoroughly regret this purchase because certain advertised features lead me to believe that this might be an acceptable mobile device, but to me it isn't. The lack of location services when you're out and about is a major deal breaker for me. Unfortunately you can't fix this, not at least until next model. And I can't get my money back. Please make a flip phone with decent specs that I can use for video calling and navigation and I will be thanking you and kissing your feet every day. Until then it's hardly a one π and the phone goes in the waste because out of my many devices I had in the past this one is my most regrettable purchase and a one worth to have a good rant about.

Whatsapp is not working
phone is ok for calling and battery life is good as I bought it for calls and whatsapp calls , but I can not get whatsapp to work, whenever i want to set up whatsapp it says the date is not correct. The date and time are correct but it keeps showing the same error message. I will have to return. I have tried to ask a question, but can not find a function to ask a question? can you please advise if you had similar error and how to resolve it?

All form and no substance
Look nice and good build quality. However, none of the apps will update and nothing else can be installed. Always gives an error. In addition, the implementation of the K9 input mode is appalling and the battery life is dreadful. Not recommended.

Straightforward easy to manage.
I have very little eyesight and I also have a very shaky hand. What I wanted was a simple phone that was easy to charge. I like the panic button on this as it means if my wife is out I simply have to push one button to get into touch. Together we have put my most used numbers, GP, Vet and my volunteer driver up and I can work these. I like the fact that it tells me who is calling. I also like the clamshell shape which makes me feel less worried about damaging it. I particularly like the press down buttons because with my shaky hands I was having trouble with the touch sensitive ones. I don't use all of it's features but the ones that I am using were easy to set up and they have done what I wanted. I had completely lost confidence with using the phone and this makes me feel that I am in touch again.
