Was actually expecting an ordinary plastic like full body frame. Kinda just clicked on it and didn't read the fine print. But this license plate protector is actually a silicone rubber all body frame that wraps around and fits perfect. Clean and sharp look, no gaps or uneven lines, plus very easy to install, great quality and value. Measures 12.25" x 6.3", 2 sets of screws and all screws cover, bolts it perfectly fit any standard-issue plate in US meets 100% street legal. Doesn't cover any of the Plate up! Is make of high quality silicone material,dust proof, rust proof, scratch resistant, heat resistant, cold resistant. Also dampens rattling. Better than a painted frame that will chip and fade. Seems to hold its shape, so far, so good, highly recommended.

My last metal frame it was covering some extra portion of license plate edges on the beneath/ lower site, but this silicone frame equally covers the whole edge and no fear of stopping by the police! when I received the product, I thought it would be a return, In the end I installed and fixed it to my car , I didn't expect it to be awesome. I had the metal plate for a few years, it is terribly with rust and scratch ,If i knew eralier the slicone is so soft and nice,my car would have a good protect . and it is a expensive lesson , Of course it is worth recommending! ! ! ! Ordered the dual silicone license plate frames and they came next day as expected. The license plate frames are of good quality and come with all the hardware and nut covers to give you a finished appearance. There were no instructions so here is a suggestion. If you want to use the 2 part black nut covers, make sure you put the fastening bolts through the lower part of the bolt cover or you are going to be taking the bolts out a second time. The bolt covers also just press on the part the bolt passes through so I am not sure how long they will stay attached. Finally the actual frame is also not long enough to cover the entire plate, so one side of the plate will extend beyond the cover by 1/16". All in a mixed bag of good and bad but I have them on my cars and they don't rattle or advertise for the car dealer so I guess they are doing what they are supposed to do. As an addition to this review the company reached out to me and agreed to give me a refund, since I was not happy with this product. I decided to keep it, since it is not significant enough of a problem for me to take the frames off the car and send them back. The seller is obviously serious about making their customers happy.

This was a purchase that my husband insisted on. He ordered one piece for himself ,and another one for me as a gift. It is a couple‘s suit, when we received this silicone license plate frame, it is made of soft silicone material. The license frame feels solid and seems like it will be durable for the winter and also summer. I like it a lot, without my husband's help, i installed it well within 5 minutes, it was very easy. Excited after my installing, then drive my car with my husband for this weekly's shopping , one the way, feeling the car next to me is observing my license plate frames . By the way . this vendor is exactly 2pcs in one sealed package and also with full set of installion tools ,it is a good gift for your companion . There's a lot of good reviews for this product so let me address some of the common negative reviews I've read before I purchased this product. The rubber has a slot on the side for the license plate to slide in and it is definitely the weak point of the product. When you slide in the license plate, be a bit gentle because the metal plates will slice into the rubber as it slides in. The rubber is thick enough where it won't rip as long as you are reasonably gentle as you slide it in. The only reason that part would rip off is because you were too impatient or rough when putting the plates in. It does rip a little (slot gets bigger) as you insert the plate so this is not a product for you if you keep swapping out the plates in and out for some reason. I imagine it'll be durable enough to swap out plates a couple times but it is a point where the rubber can rip. I didn't have any problems where the rubber is slooping anywhere. It is definitely flexible but as long as you have a straight area to mount it, it looks clean and professional. They give you 2 sets of screws as it can be different on different cars and overall I thought it was a good purchase.

I studied similar frames available on Amazon for a couple hours before choosing LinkChain. Good value for the money ~$16 for 2 plate covers. I wanted same look for both front and back plates, minimalist and classic that would look okay given my plates mount using only the top 2 holes (2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee). Not perfect, but for the price and attributes it suits just fine without going for $$ Jeep frames. What swayed my purchase: 1. easy to slide-in plate (no tools necessary, no fussing) 2. water drainage holes both top and bottom 3. cushioned back and edges of plate 4. anti-fade promise 5. just the right thickness of the black border around all sides of the plate, not too thin, not too thick, not uneven as I had noticed in photo reviews of other products Really easy and fast to install. Can’t rate durability as it has only been about a week. Hope this helps!

I bought these for my husband, he just got a new vehicle. Although he can only use one because there is no place on his front bumper for a plate. I’ll probably put the extra one on my car. The rubber seems to do a good job protecting the edges of the plate. Not only did the screws go in easy, but I like the plastic buttons to cover up and hide the screws. It looked very professional.

I purchased this for my car and my wife's car. They create a clean and polished finishing touch, so I was very pleased with them. A few weeks later I noticed my front license plate was severely bending outward on one end. I thought someone must have clipped me in a parking lot or something until I discovered my rear plate had the same problem. For a moment I thought, "who would walk up to my car and bend my plates?" Then I looked at my wife's car and her plates were doing the same thing. I've tried bending them back into a flat position but they gradually return to being bent. It's like the frames are just a little too small for the plate. This may or may not affect you if you don't live in Texas, but as far as I know all U.S. plates are a standard size.
