2.5 volt 0.43 watt needing to replace burnouts on my Christmas tree. Will these suffice?

Please kindly know that there are two kinds of bulbs at 2.5V. One is the .25 Watt, 100mA, "ES" bulb. The other is the .42 watt, 170mA "SB" variety. "ES" draws less power so they can still use the same wire size and power LOTS of bulbs, like the 300 light sets, icicle sets, and so on. If you don't know the wattage, current, or SB/ES rating of the 2.5 Volt bulbs, you have a 50%-50% chance of having the wrong bulb: getting a very dim bulb (SB bulb in an ES socket) or a quickly burned out bulb (ES bulb in an SB socket). Please know this before you buy.

Will it fit Balsam Hill "lamp lock" trees?

These will most likely fit your tree. You can remove the bulb from the green plastic "lamp lock" base, and replace it with this bulb.

Is the filament sticking out the bottom of the bulb extra long 1s i have need it long

Not sure if they qualify as extra long, but they work in my patio lights. With a bit to spare.

Will these replacement lights work on my tree, the label says esd-200/4f(0.4),120v, 60hz, 0.4a,48w, 09/09. 2.5vol, 0.25watt lamps. will these work?

these bulbs are made for "mini-xmas" 50 light SETS. Each 2.5 volt bulb is in series and add up to the 125 volt "normal" house supply voltage. They are rated for a series current of 170 milliamps (.17A) so each bulb is 2.5V x .17A = .425 Watts. so each 50 lite string uses 20 watts connected to house outlet.
