Heavy Duty Reusable Plastic Construction Shims for Spacing, Leveling, Plumbing and More - 40 Piece Pack 1/4" (Blue)

I found these for use as offsets in R tech insulation installation. I have a shed that I would like to insulate and air condition. The R tech insulation works best with an air gap between it and the wall. By glueing these to the insulation, I have a least a small air gap.The only negative about these shims is that they are really tough to break apart. Sometimes I can find a good angle and break the pieces off, but other times I have to use a saw to get the shims apart. Still these things are very versatile.

Logically, the thicker the plastic the more money it costs per shim, but these shims likely cost only pennies to produce. (Might even cost less than the packaging?). As a finish carpenter I have used these shims for years. They're the best for fine precise detail work and they're reusable. I often find myself purchasing products I genuinly love at a price I absolutely hate. Wish they were cheaper.

These shims are okay but way too thin. Said they came in multiple sizes but mine were all the same. Slid under toilet so didn't work for my situation.

Would buy again.

I would have gave product zero stars if possible.If you try to shim a project it’s impossible to flimsy won’t stay in place.Dont waste You’re $ on these shims.

These are nice little shims. The color coding makes it easy to identify different sizes. The only drawback is that they are hard to trim. They will work well in most applications.

Arrived, sturdy plastic can be cut by a box cutter. Helpful indeed. I recommend.
