The cover is sturdy , pleasant to the touch and has a nice appearance. The binding appears to be glued rather than sewn but again seems to be fairly sturdy. I write with fountain pens so paper quality is fairly important .the paper is thick and does not have a problem with either pooling or feathering. Overall I would say that it is a high quality offering well suited to its purpose.

I purchased these many times and I find them to be the best basic journal that I use for my daily business agenda. I use them like a daily to do list and to jot notes thru the day. They are a nice compact size and come in pretty colors. I always get the 3 pack bc u write every single day and it’s nice to always have one on hand. Paper is thick and ink doesn’t bleed thru.

Just the right size with lined pages, elastic closure/bookmark. Well-designed and functional. Comes in 3 attractive colors. Hope to live long enough to fill all three. Shipped in a simple sturdy box suitable for reuse. I would order more as gifts.

Adding an addendumLike another customer ("e"?) that recently reviewed this product, I have ordered and used these journals for YEARS and found them to be consistently amazing. HOWEVER, with this last batch, I have had several which were defective in that the attached ribbon-bookmark which DETACHED from the journal within 3 uses. That is NOT okay.However, with the last one I used, I put a dab of Elmr's glue on the end of the ribbon, closed it up against the inner spine for a bit, and re-attached it. It was a simple fix.

I ordered these notebooks to be included in Thank You gifts for a service club event. They were very nicely packaged and individually wrapped. They arrived in perfect condition. I especially like that they contain a pocket for miscellaneous business cards or receipts or whatever.

Journaling is an essential helpful practice. I value it so highly that I give away journals to friends and Coach them in how to use them for their lives. These are quality examples that I've given out for several years. Size, paper quality, writeability, the elastic cover closure, all are good features. Whether you are keeping track of one particular area of your life, or a daily record of what's going on, or a workbook for ideas, concepts, brainstorming for a project, this will do the job.
