Not impressed
The backing on the non skid pad to place on the bottom of the bowl would not release. I ended up supergluing it on. Even with that, the bowl seemed tippy according to my husband and he decided not to use it

Good enough
A little thin and quite small, but does the trick. I just wish it was better constructed and larger.

It would be better if the top rim curled in somewhat
It's just okay. It would be better if the top rim curled in somewhat. As it is, it's not shaped much differently from a regular bowl, except that it's wider. Depending upon the person's fine motor skills, it's not that hard to push food over the lip. The rest is fine.

Effective but too small
This handy little plate serves its purpose. Makes it easier for my Father (Alzheimer’s) to eat. It’s just too small. Size is more for children.

This bowl is just wonderful, and even though Dad still needs help eating
I got this for my 90-year-old Dad, who has Alzheimer's and is having increasing difficulty eating on his own. This bowl is just wonderful, and even though Dad still needs help eating, it allows him to be just a little bit more self-sufficient than he would be otherwise. One note: It's important to position the bowl so that as the eater gets near the end of the meal, the lip does not obscure the food left in the bowl.

Great for care homes
We purchased this product for my sister in law when her right arm was immobilized in a sling. It helped to keep the food from falling off a regular plate. It also provided a good grip so this plate didn’t end up on the floor.

Not happy with Amazon
I was not happy with this dish, it was smaller than I thought, and what’s worse is when I wanted to return it Amazon said they showed no record of me buying it from them, but when I go into my history it plainly shows it

Not the best
The dish scuffs easily, without the use of a knife! Markings after a single use, with spoon only. Bottom non-stick pad was extremely difficult to separate from the 3M backing, and tore in several places before finding a spot that would allow removal of the backing. Adhesive was likely poorly applied at manufacturing. Once on the dish, it is important never to get it wet, or it will degrade quickly. After two washes, by hand only, with minimal water contacting the rubber base, it is already separating (note: not peeling off, separating from itself the way old rubber does). Overall, this is a small dish, measuring 7 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches inside, and not very deep. We also did not find it helped much with scooping, as the food just slid right over the edge. We will be returning this, and going back to a much simpler, plain red plastic plate from MEC, that is 20% of the price, is bigger and works better -- and has a matching bowl and mug as well, all combined at 1/2 the price of this one dish at the price we paid ($22.00 + taxes).
