I want to know as soon as one battery is fully charged so that I can start charging the next one and being able to tell from far away is super helpful. I used the 2 amp setting to charge the lawnmower and motorcycle batteries and the 8 amp to charge the truck battery. It automatically switched to maintenance/trickle charge after fully charging each battery so it worked as advertised. It's small, quiet, easy to use has easy to see lights and a low price. What's not to love? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good 4 Battery Maintenance *by D***E on May 27, 2018* So far fantastic. Have it hooked to a medium sized diesel generator using a Deka 12v 650 Amp marine replacement battery, to keep it fully charged, after the first (smaller 12v battery) died. I had used a 1A and 1.5A trickle charger on the smaller battery and they did not (obviously) keep things fully charged. This seems to serve the purpose much better - especially on this "full size" 12v battery. Don't really recommend it if you need a "rapid charging device"...It took a while to charge the battery the first time, 8A mode took 20+ hours, and the battery had moderate charge. However once the voltage was steady and fully charged, it switched into maintenance mode as expected and has kept the battery at a constant "fully charged" 13.2v since.
