Seiko Women's SUP274 Analog Display Analog Quartz Two Tone Watch

I have been looking for quite a while now for a new watch to replace a watch that was given to me many years ago. What I was looking for was a dressy, feminine and delicate watch with a tank-styled case, a very thin case body, a black dial and a gold, bracelet-styled strap (I had a very specific-looking watch in mind). I didn't want any diamonds or anything else too flashy on the watch and I didn't want any special features (like dates or a compass or anything like that). Just a small, simple, elegant analog watch. I was open to consider various watch brands, however, I wanted a good value for the money and I didn't want to buy a status watch. I looked online for a very long time at many watches and I really hesitated over this watch because it had silver on the bracelet as well as gold and I couldn't tell very well from the pictures how thin the case body was or exactly how small the watch was. It arrived very fast, and I literally squealed when I opened it up! The presentation is so lovely! It is a black box with a white top (not blue like in the picture) and the box is inside of a cardboard sleeve . The watch was resting on a black velvet pillow. Excellent presentation! I felt like a queen opening the box. The watch itself is very shiny, small and refined. The case body is not ultra-thin, but it is a nice proportion for the watch. The gold and silver look better in person to me than it looked on the screen. The watch is small just as I had hoped. It is a very elegant watch and I am pleased with it. Out of the box, it is a bit loose on my wrist, so I could probably remove a link or two get a closer fit. It is a very beautiful watch and it far exceeded my expectations.This is my second Seiko solar watch. My everyday watch is also a Seiko solar watch. I have had it for six years and it keeps excellent time and has been very durable (I am somehow very hard on watches and have managed to crack the crystal on the last two or three watches I had before I got my first Seiko watch). Because of my past experience with Seiko watches, I have high expectation for this watch. It has the same build quality of my other watch and I anticipate enjoying this watch for years to come!

This is a beautiful watch! I had ordered another very similar version of this two-tone Seiko watch a few weeks ago. I had owned one in the past but lost it and was anxious to replace it. I was very disappointed when my first order arrived because the band was very very tight and the watch wasn't working! Amazon was very accommodating and immediately accepted my return. I took a chance and ordered this model hoping that it would be what I wanted. It has exceeded my expectations. The band is longer and more comfortable and has a much better security clasp. But I'm particularly pleased that this model is solar and doesn't need to have the batteries replaced. The picture of the watch in the Amazon listing had the words solar on the face of the watch, but it wasn't mentioned in the description so I wasn't absolutely sure. I'm absolutely delighted it is. I highly recommend it! The vendor was a little slow (10 days) in getting it to me, but it was well worth the wait.

I wear this watch when I get relatively dressed up, and it looks nice. Matches either silver or gold jewelry. Simple, uncluttered style. Readable dial-- dark background, gold hands and tick marks. Have only had it a short time, so I haven't seen how long the solar charge lasts. Bracelet is nice; I had a jeweler take out two links, and it fits well. Others complained about the latch part sticking out, but I haven't had any problems-- I had it sized to fit snugly on my wrist.

This was a Mother's Day present. Right out of box, I loved it. However, I must admit that at a certain angle is it hard to read the time. It has such a glare on it. So, still trying to decide if I will keep it. My husband loves it and said, "don't talk yourself out of it". However, as I stated previous, I love it. It is absolutely gorgeous! Love the size, I hate the watches for women that looks like a man's watch. Small and dainty is my way. I do recommend it to others. I don't know about water resistance. And will probably will never have it in water.

But the screen got scratched as soon as I started using it. I've had other watches for years that have never had a scratch.

Gorgeous watch! I needed to have a few links removed in the band and two of the employees of the jewelry store wanted to know where I had gotten the watch and thought it beautiful and unique. It really makes a classy statement and is quite impressive. Great purchase for the money and solar charged to boot.

I love the classic style of the watch. I have a very small wrist and most watch faces are too large for my wrist. The small face is perfect. I like that the band is two-toned, as well. Seiko watches are excellent watches. The price for this watch is a great buy.

I found a video online of how to remove links so I didn't need to take it to the jeweller. It is a lovely watch.

It has to be exposed to day light. You cannot put it away in a dark place
