Years ago we built a pecky cypress dining table for large family gatherings. It was 7ft by 5ft. Last year, after wanting more dining room area and building a large wrap around covered porch, we split the table in "half" with roughly 30 inches by 7 feet for each half. One stays on the porch and the other is in the dining room.Glass for a 7x5 ft table was out of the question and we couldn't find plexiglass, without costing an arm & leg that we agreed on. So I've been purchasing those vinyl protectors that are clear because if you build out of pecky cypress, you want to see the pecky cypress. We wanted the holes that went straight through the table, but we also didn't want someone to lose their beer through the same hole.Until I found this. I ordered the 30"x84" and it was going to fit perfectly with a little trimming on the 30" side because this "half" of the table (the inside one is the one that's getting covered first) isn't quite 30" across. Indeed, I do need to trim that, I just haven't figured out yet if I want to heat it and let the sides curl on the side of the boards or trim to fit. So for now, my scissors have NOT touched this product. The length is the issue. As you can see from the images I have attached (product is shifted for both images), one side is 83 and 7/16 inches while the other side is 83 and 9/16 inches. The lopsidedness wouldn't have bothered me, but the fact that it's not truly 84 inches means that it's not covering the entire tabletop as it should! As someone else has said, that's not a product problem it's a seller issue. It was either cut by someone else and returned and then sent to me, or someone at the factory can't read tape and use a cutting tool properly.The plus side is, this is thick!! No bottles of beer have a chance to drop down any holes, not even a spoon! It's just want I wanted in that aspect and looks like I put bar top poly on the tabletop, without the expense. It allows us to have a strong tabletop surface but still see the beauty of the table.I will be purchasing another one for the other half of the table, but I'll purchase the next length up!

We had purchased a thin/flimsy clear tablecloth before this one and it was horrible. Slid around and ended up tearing.We bought this one and it sits perfectly flat, is very easy to clean and fits our table perfectly. We have had it for a while now and is still perfect.

All good, except it's a little larger than listed. So it will overhang a little from our 28" round table.

Wanted to cover my entire table and mace my map underneath with a material that’s not breakable or scratch-able. $40 for 36x54 I did have to trim as it was 37 and 54. No big deal and you can’t even tell I did it. Perfect for homeschooling as I didn’t have wall space for my map. I used micro glue dots to help it stay in place but probably don’t need them as it seems to kinda stick to the table. I have two young boys so my table it already scratched up. Not worried about the issues others had in their reviews of it discoloring the table. I do have the map underneath so maybe that will help. Either way, very please with this product!

Very good! I bought the open box item but it was the same as new and just for half price.

I used this to cover/protect a varnished work bench top - i was able to roll it out easily and even used a heat gun to speed up the flattening process. I did not give it 5 starts because it was about 3 inches short of the 96 inch length - but that is the sellers fault not the products'

This mat is terrific for all purposes! I use it on the wall in our playroom to place stickers on and draw with the dry erase markers for our little one. It cleans easily and is a thick quality material.

I initially received the wrong sizing but the seller/Amazon made the exchange hassle free. The correct replacement was received 4 days after my order was placed. It is exactly what I was expecting. Thick, wrinkle free, 44 x 96 clear table cover. It has some plastic smell but that does not bother me much. Pricing ($81.38) is a little more than how much I would have liked to pay.

Perfect for what I was looking for, had to cut a little bit off with a exacto knife, looks nice and will keep my table perfectly clean. However Spaghetti sauce does stain it sadly won't last as long as I had intended for the price.

Very good quality, it is thick and clear. Fits my table very well. Highly recommended for someone looking for an alternative to a glass to protect their furniture.
