Works flawlessly
I was confused between this antec neoeco 550m and corsair cx 550 but that went out of stock so had to go with this one but I think I made a good decision. It powers my RX 570 very easily without any issue. Noise is also very good. Having said that I still would recommend the corsair cx 550 because it's just better overall but if you can't get that then this is as good as that.

The media could not be loaded. After 2 years of use Antec neoeco 550 is randomly stopping at any time i rechecked the connections many times but this PSU did not want to start lots of time when i have work to do, and i come to my pc and turn it on the psu will not turn on and i can verify that its psu's fault cause there is no standby power on the motherboard, rechecked the connection many times but still same problem

Antec Neo ECO series - STAY AWAY
PLZ READ CAREFULLYThis review is only applicable to ANTEC NEO ECO MODULAR SERIES PSUS. If you are buying antec atom or vp series then they are fine for their price and ignore this. This product has 80 plus bronze efficiency so you might think it is good quality and you can buy. But dont waste your money on this. This is made based on an older technology called "Group regulation". You can check in google. It is a technology which is fine for cheap PSUs under 3000. But for over 4400 rupees, in 2020, this technology is Just UNACCEPTABLE. Some manufacturers sell these to customers who are not much aware. The problem with this older technology is that, 12v rail and 5v rail are regulated together. This causes very high ripple under unbalanced load on these rail. So the voltage regulation will be bad under load.If you are building pc with graphics card then there is going to be high load on 12v rail. Group regulated psus like this will reduce the lifespan of your components and might cause failures. SO you should get Psus with DC to DC conversion technology. If this was costing under 3000-3500 then no complaint. You can get it. But this costs over 4500. For this same price, you can get a Corsair CX series PSU. That one has LLC resonant topology with DC-DC conversion. That is much more advanced technology than this. You should get that one instead. Just stay away from Neo Eco series, it is just overpriced garbage. If you can afford you can get Antec EAG pro series that one is great. But in this price range, best option is corsair CX series.

I've got the Power
I got this as my old but reliable pc's power supply had started to not give stable voltage outputs. But had it for about 10 years in this pc so been worth it. This is the first power supply I have had with semi modular cables, apart from the main motherboard and extra cpu cable which is direct to power supply. This has enabled me to direct cables in my case in a better way for air flow. My case is a old tall one but the cables have been long enough reach from top to bottom and still keep air flow good. This is the second Antec Power supply and the first on has been running about 5 years ok in my linux computer. The PC case its gone in to is a Antec 300 Mid ATX Tower Case so if you need a idea of cable fitting/length with ease just do a search for it on the internet. Iam pleased so far and my old reliable pc can keep going. I've left doing this review for a few weeks to test it out.
