Rear Wiper Arm and Blade Set for Volkswagen Tiguan L 2018-2020 ASLAM Rear Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement Assembly

It looks like the original and works well. It went on easily. When installing it, remember it is horizontal when not turned on.The hardest part of the process will be removing what is left of the old arm. If you live were they salt the roads like I do, it will be difficult. When removing it, you should use a puller so that you don't damage the post. Even with the puller and PB Blaster (or WD40), it will be difficult. You should hit it with PB Blaster and let it sit overnight. There are lots of YouTube videos on how to do remove it. It is best to remove the washer fluid nozzle, and spin the nut to the end of the post to protect it before you use the puller. The walls of the post are thin, with out the nut, applying too much pressure can crush it so the nozzle will not fit back in. Again, lots of You Tube videos.Not that I suggest that others do it the way I did, but I was pressed for time and could not let the PB Blaster work overnight. I ended up cutting away the plastic that covers the aluminum sleeve (or ring). I then tightened the puller as tight as I could, and gently used a propane torch on low to heat the aluminum ring while the puller was still on. Aluminum heats quickly so it only took a few short seconds of heat on the ring and I heard a pop when it came loose. If you heat it too long, the other rubber or plastic pieces between the wind shield and post will probably melt. The sleeve and post were both hot after, so I gave them a minute to cool down. The ring then slid off with a pair of pliers.I slid the new arm on, screwed the nut back on, put the nozzle back in, popped the wiper blade on , and snapped the center cap on over the post. Done... looks great!
