This will be the 3rd year I have used this shock,its cheaper then the big name pool stores and works just as good...recommend this seller

Works just like you'd expect granular calcium hypochlorite to work. Effective shock, no clumping, and relatively easy-to-open pouches. It dissolves relatively quickly in a warm pool, but does require a bit of brushing. (If you've never used a calcium-based pool shock before, do your homework. It can bring up the hardness of the water, and if you already have hard water, it can have side-effects. Otherwise, it's a great, shelf-stable alternative to sodium hypochlorite.)
