What is the difference between the "kit" and just the product as shown in this listing

The kit includes a drop cloth to shield the floor and some painters tape to mask the edge of your rug while spraying the product on the back of your rug.

Can I use this on a stair runners?

I don't have stairs, but I would say yes. I have had it on my rugs now for about a year and a half and couldn't be more pleased with the way it works.

Since this is highly susceptible to freezing, how is it shipped to ensure it does not subjected to freezing durring shipment?

RugLock is shipped using insulation and is not shipped when it will sit over a weekend.

Can you use it on rugs used on laminated floors?

I'm using it on a ceramic tile floor and it works VERY WELL!!! Doesn't budge! I have no laminate floors in my house, but the can says that you can use it for that.
