For $3 you simply can't beat the value of Murray's. I use this product nearly every day and this 3 oz tin has lasted me nearly 3 months!PROS:- Value. You can't beat it.- Super Light is much lighter and thinner than Murray's original pomade. This product was made for 'white people hair' whereas the original pomade was made for 'black people hair'.- Great hold, but keeps the hair soft and pliable.- Easy to comb through hair. Much Easier to wash out than Original Murray's- Smell is nothing to complain about. You can't smell it while it is on your hair.- Leaves hair looking smooth and somewhat shiny if it is combedCONS:- Leaves hair kind of greasy, but that is just the nature of these sort of products. The girlfriend probably wont want to run her fingers through your hair.- If you get it wet, the tin will begin to develop rust spots after about 2 months of use.TL;DR It's great and I would certainly purchase again.

Don't worry if you aren't going for a greaser pompadour, this stuff can handle any hair style.I got tired of spending $5-$8 for the axe hair products. Someone recommended American Crew but that was overpriced and smelled strange. I heard about murrays on some forums and wanted to try the light pomade for easy wash-out and medium hold. This stuff is so cheap for a tin that will last you at least a few months. I have really thick hair and it gives that perfect amount of hold where I can still run my hand through it and not come up with grease all over my hand. Its a medium shine so your hair looks healthy and it smells amazing. I use about a quarter size, emulsify it between my hands, and lightly slick it through, does the job perfectly and takes no time at all. I love the super light and I recommend it to anyone looking for a medium strength pomade that is easy on anyones pockets.

#1 ingredient is petroleum and it does look and smell greasy. Its hard to wash off your hands after applying. I'm satisfied with the product for the price. It holds hair well and does its job. But it does look and smell like grease (like grease your would use on your car parts). I'm giving 4 stars for value and it works good. I could've easily looked at the ingredients and known about how it would feel and smell. I bought this because I've tried Murray's Edge Wax, which was mostly beeswax. I thought this would be like that but "lighter". This was not like that. I would not buy again.

I have been using the Murray's Light Pomade for years now as a way to keep my hair looking sharp after a fresh haircut and in check as it is growing out. I like how it stays soft so you can re-comb it if you want to.It smells nice, and the scent is not overpowering like some other pomades. It's a little greasy, but it's an old school style product. Unfortunately it makes your forehead shiny, but a quick swipe with a handkerchief every now and then sorts it out.There might be better pomades out there, but for what I need it works perfect. Highly recommended.

This product is not the same as from my prior purchase from Walmart, which was far better with much better results. This one is thicker and less absorbent and doesn’t treat my hair the same. I will not purchase again.

This is the everyday hair product that I rely on to look super dapper all day long. It works best when heated up until it melts. I use an electric hot-plate style coffee cup warmer to melt the pomade while I shower. Once it's mostly liquid, it's super easy to apply. Work it in with your fingers, comb it through, and style appropriately. Holds all day and is super easy to restyle if need be. It can be a pain to wash out, but if you're using petroleum based pomades like this then you're prepared for it. Murray's holds so much better than any of the water based pomades and I've found that the Lite version is just a tad easier to wash out without compromising the hold. I usually buy three tins at a time since I use so much!

I had ordered this product previously and liked it enough to order it again. This is a much lighter version of the regular Murray's (they make several hair products) and doesn't make my hair look as greasy and washes out easier. Nevertheless, you do have to expect that it WILL make your hair look greasy so if you want a hair product that gives your hair a dry, non-greasy look, this is not the product for you. But if you want great hold for spiked hair, it works well. Its very hard to find this stuff in the store. This seller has consistently carried the Murray's products at a good price and have shipped and delivered it to me very quickly.
