The fabric was very soft and very elegant. But difficult to work with due to the excessive fraying.

This fabric is very beautiful. It's the exact color that I needed to make a dress. Everyone else in the previous reviews are complaining about the stiffness. I'm a seamstress/fashion designer. You have to wash this fabric before using with laundry detergent and fabric softener. As far as the fraying, I would say of you don't have a serger machine/overlook then you would have to burn the ends to keep from fraying. I have a serger so I'm fine. The price for 5yards is definitely AMAZING. I will definitely purchase in other colors and possible more yards as well for my other projects.

For a halloween costume ...MAYBE. This cheap thin fabric is not true satin. Feels like paper and hangs stiff. Poor quality and misrepresented as Satin.

I previously ordered the purple satin to use in church for the Lent season. I was extremely pleased with the quality and price. I ordered the white satin expecting the same quality. I was very disappointed as the fabric was picked and had knotted threads along the selvage. I was not pleased with the quality of this piece of fabric.

Depending on what you need this for it may or may not work. It’s not fully opaque and is very fragile, as in it snag and pulls extremely easily. And not in a high-end way. The weaving of the satin is not tight so it easily snags and doesn’t recover well. I intended to make bonnets, scrunchies, and robes out of it and it simply won’t do. Looks great from afar but you really can’t touch it. I had to refund my customer since I wouldn’t make my deadline with the fabric not working.On the optimistic side, it would work better for drapery, staging, or set design where it won’t be touched frequently, if at all.Also please keep in mind that it doesn’t do well with heat. It melts and permanently wrinkles under low heat so use caution. You kinda have to live with the wrinkles. Use sharp needles when sewing. Trust me. It makes a difference.

This satin is good for lining your lace beautiful shiny and lightweight highly recommend and I will buy again

Ordered this because the description says charmeuse satin and for crafts but this is a polyester TABLE Cover! Not usable for crafts, definitely not a satin-like. Very disappointing because I needed to fabric asap for a project
