Does not work with molded clamp-on style connectors
I have mixed feelings about this wire. It is very well made, with thick, sunlight-resistant direct-burial insulation. However, I was unable to use it with my Progress lighting P8651-01 or Moonrays 11604 cable connectors due to the thickness of the insulation. These connectors are designed to be used with 18/2 lamp cord and this product will NOT fit into the channels for 18/2 wire for these connectors. This wire can be used with splice connectors and certain connectors that involve separating the zip trunk line. Since I was using 10ga and 12ga for my trunk line and had about 30 lights to install, I preferred the clamp-on style for my job. Otherwise, I would not hesitate to use this wire for short runs...

Good wire/lenght
Nice and thick. Hooked up 28 led lights. Didn't use connectors since those cost a fortune, soldered every connection and plastic dipped to finish. The wire is soft enough to make bends. Wording on 1 side which be used as black wire if direction matters.

18/2 wire might be too less for longer distances
I purchased the 18/2 here but must say that the voltage loss was considerable large with about 10 LED Lights 5-12W hanging on it. Thus, I would appreciate of the seller would provide a voltage drop table showing the difference in his cables and the voltage drop depending on load and distance. For smaller loads and lower distances this cable seems good and affordable. Just do not hook up too many LED lights at a single run.

Quality and great price
I've installed over 500 feet of this wire in all three gauges: 16, 14, and 12 and pulled it all through 1/2" pvc conduit with no problem. 200 feet have been operational for over three months with no problem.I know a thing or three about such things and was concerned with the low price. Regardless of manufacturer, it's important to not undersize your wire to ensure no voltage drop which is why the farther you are from the low voltage transformer, the larger the wire should be. For a really long run I started with 12 gauge which two lights then went to 14 gauge for the next two lights then to 16 gauge for the final two lights.

Hefty low voltage cable, lifetime guarantee
Great cable, well made, hefty insulation that should withstand the elements easily. On handy spool for twist-free dispensing. Low voltage cable pricing seems to fluctuate (with the value of copper? ) So check again on price and other alternatives before you purchase. Switched to this item because of that, got 50 more feet 'for free' lol. They offer a lifetime replacement if it goes defective...

Great Quality for this Hard-to-Find Wire
18 gauge landscaping wire is hard to find, yet modern LED lights draw so little current that you don't need very large gauge wire unless you have a very long run. I needed 18ga wire to run from my trunk wire to some individual 4 watt fixtures. This wire appears to be high quality, and it fills my needs perfectly.

High quality small gauge landscape wire
Hard to find high quality 18 ga landscape wire, but this product met the qualifications! Wire is flexible, still has a tough jacket, yet is small in size and can be used in situations where wire needs to be “hidden” within outside deck structure, under railings, etc.

Perfect replacement for damaged section
Had a landscape wire torn up when they ground out a stump, I was a bit concerned about replacing the missing section of wire, but this wire was exactly as described. High quality, solid product. I felt this was better than the existing wire.

Delivery Dates questionable.
This is the second time I have ordered this product, less than 2 months apart. Both orders arrived a week before the expected delivery. The first order arrived an hour before I had planned to be away for a long weekend. The second order was more than 10% more expensive. I felt ripped off.
