It needs to be able to soak in very hot water, hotter than what goes in the washing machine. Plus, dumping a bunch of dye in the washer might mess up the washer for further use... The color is bright, vibrant, and definitely gives you that fun, noticeable pink rather than something that looks dull or washed out. It was easy to work with, and I liked being able to control the final color depending on how much dye was used and how long the item stayed in the dye bath.The liquid formula is convenient because there is no powder to dissolve or worry about mixing completely. It was easy to measure out what I needed and incorporate it into the dye bath. The color distributed nicely and gave the material a much more even appearance than I expected.One thing I would definitely recommend is preparing your workspace before you start. This is a strong pink dye, so I was careful about protecting the surrounding area and wearing gloves while working with it. Following the directions and making sure everything is mixed well makes the process much easier.Overall, this worked very well for my project and produced a really pretty, saturated pink.
