Cat Collar Breakaway with Bell and Bow Tie, Plaid Design Adjustable Safety Kitty Kitten Collars(6.8-10.8in) (Light Blue&Brown)

My cat looked like a Hedge Fund Manager in this collar - we both loved the look. But he lost it just over three weeks after I got it. I found it at the neighbor's a couple of days after my Amazon 30 day return expired. The plastic clasp had bent teeth so the collar is unusable - it won't hook together. So my Hedge Fund Manager advises no investment at this time.He looked so handsome in it, it's a shame!

So we have a 1 1/2 year old blue point Siamese kitty and he always looks so handsome in his “bow ties”. Well about 2 months ago we adopted his little brother (literally! His mommy and daddy kitty had 1 last liter and the baby was the only one she had! And our boy was lonely)’I wanted them to have matching collars and these were perfect as the size would adjust enough for baby kitty! And they both look so handsome! So the first pic doesn’t really show the collars but how much they cuddle! Second pic is the baby and the 3rd pic is of my older boy! Love the collars!

I love the cute bow and plaid print on this collar, and it looks adorable on both my cats. The problem that I haven't seen mentioned in other reviews is that the little cat-head shaped buckles have sharp pointed ears on them. It's a very cute idea, but it is terribly uncomfortable for the cats. When they turn their heads, the sharp points on the buckle prick at them and they scratch at that area. I was able to solve the problem by removing the little ears with my husbands wire cutter tool and then filing down the ragged edges. So, if you do buy this collar, please be alert to any signs of the buckle irritating them, especially if you have short-haired cats. It can be easily rectified.

The soft flannel material of this collar is perfect for my kitten, though I had to adjust it to its smallest possible length for his tiny neck. I removed the bowtie because it's almost bigger than his head right now.What I don't like is the "breakaway" clasp. Breakaway is in quotes because I sincerely doubt it would actually break away. When trying to take the collar off of my kitten, I nearly strangled him, poor dear. There needs to be a release on the clasp, because it most certainly doesn't separate easily enough to release a cat should his or her collar snag on something. I'd thought that it was merely a stiffness in the clasp and that if I opened and closed it enough times, it would limber up but it hasn't. Major design flaw.Sadly, I'll have to keep looking for a safer collar for my sweet lil guy.

It's just the cutest! It adjusts really well. At first I got scared thinking it wouldnt adjust to my 2 month old kittens neck, but it did! The bow is adjustable as well, you can just slide it over for more neck adjusting room. My kitten didnt like it at first, but shes gotten use to it and loves it now just as much as I do. It also came in a cute little black jewelry box. I opened the package in front of my mother and she said "oooh what you get??" And when she saw it was just a collar inside she said omg 🙄 lol.. worth my money 👌

EDIT: Apparently I'm a huge idiot. I fiddled around with the collars a bit and realized they can, in fact, be tightened enough to fit my eight week old kittens -- if a little loosely, but not so much that they slide over their heads or hang awkwardly. They're so, so cute and both my kitties took to the bow ties really quickly!These are really, really cute and feel super sturdy! Unfortunately for me, I saw the word "kitten" in the title and assumed they would fit my two eight-week old kitties, which they absolutely don't. :( That's on me, though.Either way it's not a huge issue because I can adjust the collars with rubber bands until my kittens are big enough, I just thought I would put this out there for anyone else thinking these might fit young kitties!

My boy looks so dapper now! I think he likes it. He doesn't try to take it off. It's a nice thick soft cotton. He's the biggest male in the house and now he struts, because he knows he's the best looking. It does look a little darker cyan than the picture but I'm ok with this. I also didn't think this would fit. Hes a big boy. I thought for sure it would be too small. Nope. Thanks to the other reviewers, it does fit. With room. I adjusted it to fit. The pink one fit on our kitten too. It is a little difficult to adjust which is a very good thing. If it was easy, the cats could run up against something and loosen it. That's what happened to the last collar. It kept coming off. This one doesn't unless it is caught and breaks away. Which is what we need because our cats go everywhere in the house. So far it hasn't come off and it didn't need to. The old one we had came undone. Not breakaway. This one has stayed on and he loves it! I love the bell too and there's room for his tag too.

So adorable! It arrived on time and was well packaged. At first glance, I thought it was going to be far to small for our boy’s big neck. Fortunately, it is easily adjusted to fit. The material is nice and soft, feeling much nicer to the touch than the typical breakaway collars I usually buy. We also tried it on our little old lady of 17 years. She’s a skinny little girl, and it fit perfectly around her neck when adjusted. So precious! We’ll definitely buy more of these!

Crucial for a new mischievous kitty!
