Big Bad Mama [Blu-ray]

Great movie. Another cheaply made and very overpriced Amazon recordable disc. Tell Amazon how much you hate these things.

I`ve been waiting for this movie to come out in Blu Ray format! The picture is fantastic- love it!

Lots of action, but a campy story. Lots of laughs as well.

If Angie was not in this mess it would have one star. The Story is all over the place and not entertaining enough to wasteyour time and money spent on watching it.

Great movie with Angie Dickinson, Tom Skerritt, William Shatner and Dick Miller.

The Blu-ray is a definite upgrade from the DVD, although not as much as one might expect. Much of the film, though not all, seems to have been shot with long lenses, low light and/or cheap filmstock. It almost looks blown up (enlarged) in places. Still, it's the best version I've seen since the theatrical release. What I didn't recall was how unusual Wm. Shatner's performance was; note the economy of gesture when he lets Joan Prather escape. A fun film.

I own DVD's that look better.

have not seen this since the 80-'s great movie-can't believe angie showed all she had.

- Schlechte Schauspieler- Unfassbar schlechte Dialoge- Billigste TechnikNaja,in etwa das was ich erwartet hatte. Normalerweise hätte es auch eine höhere Wertung von mir bekommen (als Trash-Film Fan).Aber es gibt doch noch einiges zu bemängeln an dem Film.1. Zu viele unnötige und langweilige Gesprächs-Szenen2. Der Film ist zwar uncut,aber er ist so unglaublich schlecht gefilmt,das man meinen könnte das dieser Film doch geschnitten sein könnte.Somit ist der Film selbst für einen Trash-Film Fan wie mich,ein Mieser Film.2 Sterne bekommt er trotzdem,weil ich die Idee ansich ganz gut fand. Nur die Umsetzung ist mies geworden.

Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Wenn man auf den Titel, das Cover oder die Beschreibung beachtet, dann weiss man was man bekommt.Trash der feinsten Sorte. Genau das Richtige um die "schlechte Filme-Sammlung" zu erweitern.Wer ebenfalls Animal Trashfilme mag kommt hier auf seine Kosten.Wer allerdings auf einen hochwertigen Film hofft, ist hier sicher falsch.
