OK - I am very impressed with this battery. I have bought 15 - 20 20V - China Clone - Dewalt batteries over the last 8 years. Some better than others but none as good as a real Dewalt. The difference is the price. These WAITLEY batteries are as close to a real Dewalt as I have found. I always test new ones on a Dewalt Blower that eats up batteries. Dewalt batteries will run till they are dry but the rest only run for a minute or so and shut off. Too fast of a drain on the power. These ran on the blower until they had about 25% of the battery left before slowing down. Will definitely buy again as I need new ones. These are my NEW Go to 20V.UPDATE 01/08/23. - Put the Waitley Batteries to a good test. Set approximately 350 - 3” heavy wood timber screws on a single charge before it died. I had a 7 amp 20 V battery that I have only had about 6 months. It lasted for 80 screws before it died. When I charged the 2 batteries on identical chargers the 7 amp charged in about 20 minutes. The 6 amp Waitley took right at 1 hour. The Waitley is significantly heavier which tells me it packs a lot more battery components. The Waitley is at least as good as a comparable Dewalt Battery and that is saying a great deal. Is now the only 20 V line of battery for Dewalt tools that I will buy.

Seems to be a good battery. My only real complaint is that when used on a sawzall they have a tendency to vibrate loose and fall. No it is not a tendency, they fall out every time. Verified it was not my saw by using a Dewalt brand battery which did not fall off. No issues with any other tools.

Have been disappointed before buying off-brand batteries to save money. These really do work just as hard as I do!

As good as OEM at less than half the price! I love the upgraded charge display. Now there’s no guessing exactly how much charge is left; much better than just bars. I bought 4 of these and gave my old OEM batteries to a coworker. Don’t hesitate to try these!

Very good for the money. They may not last as long as OG Dewalt batteries but for the price I do not mind.

Much cheaper than OEM. Works great. Use with Dewalt string trimmer which eats batteries. Needed higher capacity to finish my yard.

These batteries have been what I expected them to be although I have only had them a short while. What makes me give the great review is that I bough another brand battery and was not happy at all. These charge the way they are supposed to and run my DeWalt blower very well. I have other DeWalt batteries for other DeWalt tools and they fit and work just as well as the original batteries.

I worked for 3 years designing test systems for both military and medical Li-Ion battery packs. I am very familiar with how well designed Li-Ion battery packs perform. These (2) 6aH Waitley packs were intended to supplement a nearly new 2aH DeWalt OEM pack. The OEM pack performs strongly until its falls below the lowest LED charge level indicator on the tool (the lowest LED starts flashing when it's run out of charge). Both of the Waitly packs start showing obvious signs of running out of their charge before they reach the 50% charge level. If this typical behavior for the Waitly 6aH packs they're a poor supplement or replacement pack for DeWalt tools. i'm wrestling over whether to just keep them and use them as poor knockoff packs or return them and try another recommended brand.In the review I read these were rated #3 and had the best Amazon customer reviews including the #1 and #2 rated packs. I am quite disappointed, but what's said in the battery business is "buy OEM for reliable and safe battery pack performance". My surprise was the OEM DeWalt packs are several times more expensive that the knockoff packs like the Waitly. At this point I'm undecided whether to return these or just used them when I have to and hope for the best. Claiming 3 times the charge capacity of the DeWalt 2aH packs is just crazy. They did not perform as well as the DeWalt 2aH while claiming 3x capacity. Unfortunately, paying a fortune for DeWalt battery packs does not sit well with me, yet?
