I bought some of these in 2017 to cover a neighbor's ugly tan fence at the back of my yard. The color retention and durability since 2017 has been excellent. Yes, they are viewed from a distance, but even if viewing a few feet away the appearance is very good. In 2023 I bought two more to cover the back of a second neighbor's white garage that faces my yard. Again, very satisfied with quality. For the fence I used XHF 200 PCS 1/2" Black Self Adhesive Cable Zip Tie Mounts and green zip ties so no damage to the fence. These have stayed in place since 2017. Don't tell my other neighbor, but for the garage I used #6 x 3/4" Wood Screw 100PCS Black Phosphate Coated Stainless Flat Truss Head Fast Self Tapping Drywall Screws by SG TZH to attach the ivy to the garage :-) For 28' of Ivy it took me 1/2 hour to put it up. Now when I look out at my yard, for all seasons, I see attractive ivy rather than an ugly fence and garage. I highly recommend this product.

I did not like the view from my dining room table. A cinder block wall/alley is pretty awful to look at every day. I posed lots of questions on Amazon about how to adhere it to this surface. No one had a solution or had attempted this. So, I set my idea into motion. I purchased an 8ft section and a 10ft section of the ivy screen. I did not want to drill into the wall so instead I chose a solution that could be removed without damage if my idea did not work. I purchased some cedar 1x2's and cut them to fit. I adhered the wood with Gorilla Tough & Clear Mounting tape 38lb weight (from Amazon) and I applied exterior adhesive caulking about every 10 inches in between the tape pieces. When dry and cured, I painted the boards to match the wall. Next I was able to attach the ivy screen across the boards using an electric staple gun. The ivy was in excellent condition with very few gaps and it went up without a hitch. I added some imagination and accent pieces (compliments of Amazon) and the rest is history! Today it is being put to the test as we are having 60 mph winds. So far, so good. I haven't even lost a leaf of ivy. Hope it continues to hold up as we really like the before and after transformation of a brick alley to a faux garden!

we have ordered 11 rolls of this Ivy to cover our 8' fence around the sides and back our pool. It looks great, it's easy to hang,(we stapled ours on with green staples so they don't show). We cut each roll in half and hung the width, 6' and the length, 7'. We have a 6" trim piece on the top and the ivy stops 6" from the bottom so we can edge without touching the ivy. This really makes the yard more private and tropical. In the places where you see the plastic grid, the leaves can spin so you just turn the leaves to cover it. The only drawback is that it could use more leaves. You can't see anything but leaves from a few feet and more away from the fence, but up close you can maybe see a little of the plastic grid here and there. Nothing to be concerned with. Overall, it looks fabulous! Photos included. 1st 3 photos are in progress so you see what was covered and the finished product in the 4th photo. I can't say enough good about this Ivy. We really love it.

I bought three of these to cover sections of my fence where we have sparse natural coverage. They provide plenty of privacy while still allowing wind to pass through. They look good enough - there's no way they'd pass for the real thing, but they don't look tacky, either. The only problem that I have is that the little caps that hold on the leaves are missing from many places. It would take about 400 more of those little caps to cover all of the places where there aren't any - I messaged the seller, they asked how many I would need, I told them, and then never heard from them again. Not sure if I'd buy more of these because I'm concerned with how well the leaves are going to stay on without anything holding them on there.

This was my very first foray into the world of artificial hedges and I have to say that I am extremely happy with my purchase.This was for a very complicated rooftop garden project which involved covering a variety of surfaces and heights. I needed something to cover a very large cinder block wall, along with a 2-foot high perimeter around the entire roof. Add on top of that a custom bench that we built for seating. You can see our before and after pictures in the review.This product is actually a very large mesh of pre-assembled 12x12 plastic frames that contain the leaves themselves. The frame is then stitched (loosely) to a standard outdoor green backing. The bottom line is that it is very easy to disassemble the frames and cut the backing to fit whatever shape, length, or height you need.Our building is up here at 8,000 feet and we get 600+ inches of snow every year. Needless to say, anything that would require drilling into the roof would be unacceptable. We had absolutely no problem mounting the entire project using outdoor zip ties and standard green garden wire.Up close, these don't look natural but they sure don't look bad. And from a distance, they look like any ordinary ivy covering, complete with realistic rustling in the breeze. The plastic appears to be very durable, as do the leaves. I assembled a total of 6 of these 14 foot screens and I lost a total of 6 leaves, all of which just snapped back into place.I can't comment on long-term durability but so far, these appear to be very well made and sturdy.

Leaves fall off easily. Best product out there off the price otherwise.

It does what I wanted it to do. Neighbours can no longer see directly into our back yard and pool.
