I Love You: A Keepsake Storybook Collection (Caroline Jayne Church)

This was all three of my children's favorite book collection when they were young. I recently purchased it again for someone as a gift for their children to fall in love with too. Every story in this book is well illustrated and beautifully written. It also is well put together after 12 years of our book being used well the binding is holding up strong unlike a lot of collection books that I have had to re-glue over the years.

My little guy loves stories at bedtime, and he tries to make me read all of these at one time at night. This will be a good keepsake when he gets older. I keep it on a shelf in the closet when I'm not reading it, because he tends to draw in books and rip pages. Boys will be boys.

I love this book and thankfully our 2 and 4 year olds do also, because sometimes it does not work out that way. We can read the entire book in one setting and it is no hardship, because most of the stories are very short with vibrant and sweet illustrations. The stories are also all about loving mommy, so what more can you say about that?!I love you stinky face -- clever and oh so funny.I love you because you're you -- struck a chord with my kids. When we have a not so great moment with one of them, the other has turned to me and say, "You still love sister even when she's bad?"The other stories are very short with enough repetition for both of my kids to nearly memorize. I read the short stories slowly, so they can finish each statement themselves.Really leaves you with a good feeling at the end of the day.

This book has been a favorite since my son was a little baby. All of the stories are engaging. It is a fantastic value for the 5 stories it contains. My son's favorite is I Love You, Stinky Face. He had most of the story memorized by age two & loved to read that particular story over & over. His favorite line is "I love you little greenie, Bon Appetit" but instead of Bon Appetit, he always says, "Bon Appe-teeth" & we both fall over laughing. My son has several hundred books in his collection & he requests this book at least once a week.We are now planning to buy several copies for his preschool's book drive for low-income children. This book will hopefully give it's readers a great boost of confidence.

I love this book! It includes 5 stories. My favorite is “I Love You Because You are You”. I always give this as a baby shower gift.

My kids and I love this book. It’s perfect for bedtime stories. The stories all flow well and are easy and rhythmic when reading. This also makes a great gift!

This is an awesome storybook. It is nice to have a book that focuses on the love you have for your child and is not necessarily based on a two-parent home. This was great collection for me and my daughter. She is 5 years old and she had me read the whole thing to her in one night. I think she definitely loved "I Love You, Stinky Face!" the most. That one was really good and funny. But really this is a great price for a great collection. We LOVE it!

I gave this book as a baby shower gift but I read it to my son at bedtime for years. We enjoyed the entire collection of stories, I can still recite "ILOVE You Because You're You" and "I LOVE You Stinky Face" word for word. The illustrations are bright and vibrant perfect for young readers. The stories are both heartwarming and at times comical. I hope that you have as many happy, cuddling, loving hours with your little ones reading this as I did with my own son.

My son loves this book. Only downfall is the pages are easy to rip.
