Säuber Kitchen Sink 1.5 Bowl Right Hand Drainer Stainless Steel Inset Waste

Very easy to clean sink, lovely deep bowls.

Overall nice product, good value for money, however mine as stained in some areas.

Value for money

First day after fitting I cut my hand on the edge of the sink (very sharp) also scratches very easily, plugs do not seal and water drains awayBut the worst bit is when filling one bowl the water comes up through the sink in the other bowl with debris from the so called trap which is absolutely useless and very un hygienic as others have said the waste kit is cheap and nasty as is the sinkI would not recommend this product and regret purchasing.

The sink is fantastic and really sturdy but the supplied waste is useless.It has a flexible outlet not compatible with (UK plumbing) which can't be cut so can end up with a dogleg that waste sits in.Sink isn't compatible with other manufacturer wastes so had to buy an additional sauber 1.5 bowl kit from plumbworld to plumb it properly.

Had major difficulty with this sink. The piping is not suitable for UK standard. Their size is 45mm our UK standard is 45mm. On the website it’s doesn’t mention these details at all only when it comes to fixing you have the problems.Also, the piping that comes with it doesn’t fit anything. We had to do a mix bitch job with piping form B&Q. Also, the work that was done I lost half of my cupboard space. No fault of the plumber as he spent over a day getting this work completed. His advise was it doesn’t take long to fit a sink because the piping is a few minutes job. The sink itself is a great size and good quality. It’s just the piping. Also note there is no button or lever to lift the plug drain you have to manually do that with your hands. Many times this sink get full of water when the plug drain is pushed down. I wouldn’t buy this product and keep away from the brand. Stick to UK products instead.

I bought this sink before reading the reviews. Thankfully, the plumbing from the previous Franke sink must have also been European as the switch was seamless. Yes, the wastes do feel a little cheap, but I have tested filling the sinks - the water stays - they catch debris - they look good! I imagine replacing square wastes is not as simple as round ones - but I never have had to replace parts on previous sinks, so maybe this will be the same. Love the deep half sink. So far so good in general. It does look lovely!

My Plummber has had a nightmare fitting this sink. It’s lovely to look at but the plumbing materials eg pipes and fittings are a nightmare. My plumber is struggling to fit the pipes as they are not compatible to uk pipe system. I’m still waiting to find the 3 flow pipes that will fit the waste baskets. Total nightmare.
